Black Myth: Wukongtakes you on a journey with the Destined One, who faces numerous challenges and boss fights as he progresses through each chapter of the game. With six chapters, each featuring a unique region to explore, there’s plenty of combat, exploration, and characters to meet along the way.
While it may not be obvious during gameplay, Black Myth: Wukong features two possible endings. The default ending is unlocked simply by playing through the game with no special requirements. However, there is also a secret ending, which requires completing several additional steps before it can be achieved.
How To Unlock The Secret Ending
There are several requirements you need to fulfill before unlocking the secret ending in the game. The first step is tocomplete every secret area available in Chapters One, Two, Four, and Five.
Each area requires the completion of a specific quest before unlocking it. After unlocking the areas, you’ll need to defeat the corresponding boss for each secret area:
Once that’s done, there’s one more quest to complete:the Treasure Hunter quest during Chapter Three.
With all these requirements fulfilled, you’ll be ready for the secret ending. Your next stop isthe Great Pagodain the third region of the game.
To reach it, start at thePagoda Realm – Snow-Veiled Trail, and followthe path down the leftside of the shrine.Cross the bridgewhen you see it, and continue on the path until you reacha large gate that leads inside the Great Pagoda.
Inside, make your way up to the empty wall frame in front of you,where a monk will be standing, waiting for you.Approach him to trigger a cutscenethat will transport you to a separate secret locationwhere you’ll experience the secret ending of the game.
Unlocking the secret ending will also earn you theMeet the Match trophy/achievement.
