Life Is Strange: Double Exposurehas several tasks you can complete that don’t change the overall course of the story, but can make a single NPC’s day that much better. Who wouldn’t want a random parallel-world-hopping angel to change their failing grade into an A?
During Chapter 3, you learn of a student, named Martin Hart, struggling in Professor Darren Carlsen’s class, the teacher that Safi worked for as a Teacher’s Assistant. In Living World, Safi made sure Martin had an A. But in Dead World, without Safi to look out for him, he’s been given a failing grade. Keep reading to find out how to fix Martin’s grade.
How To Change Martin Hart’s Grade
Martin is also referred to in the game as “phone guy”. While you’re wandering around the FAB during Chapter 3 in Dead World, you can overhear him talking on the phoneabout how his professor has it out for him. But thisisn’t requiredto start the task.
The office next to Lucas' is theoffice of Professor Carlsen. Go inside and read the grades on his desk. Max says she remembers Safi telling her that theprofessor had it out for this one kid, but that failing him seems harsh.
If you try to interact with the computer to change the grade, Max saysshe needs a password first, which you can get in the Living World.
Use the shift point by the FAB cafe and shift into Living World, thenread the same grade sheet. This Martin has an A, of course, but this version of the grade sheetalso has the password on the bottom of the page.
Next, go back to Dead World, andinteract with the professor’s computerto change Martin’s grade.
If you use the Dual Tone Phone Booth in Living World, thefirst message you’ll hear from the past is from Phone Guy.
