SinceLove and Deepspaceis an otome game, gameplay centers heavily on dating. As you pull Memories, complete events, and finish the main storyline, you will slowly unlock more Date options and types to complete with the men in Linkon City.
In Destiny Cafe, you may access all unlocked Date types from your Date tab. Here, you can play fun minigames like Kitty Cards and the Claw Machine, listen to soothing audio stories about your time with each character and even play through fully interactive memories with each romance candidate. There is no shortage of Dates to go on or ways to play.

What Are Dates?
Dates areinteractionsyou can have with each romance candidate to get to know them betterand earn Affinity points. The higher your Affinity points with a character, themore items, stories, and interactionsyou will unlock.
Each Date type hasdifferent levels of interactability, with some Dates — like those unlocked byfive-star memories— beingcomplete, playable stories, and others readable short stories.
Playtime
Playtime Dates are Dates you may go on with each character in which youplay a game or partake in a collection activity. The two types of Playtime Dates you can go on areKitty Cards and the Claw Machine.
You havethree chancesto play both Kitty Cards and the Claw machine with each of your love interestsper week. After completing each activity, you willearn Affinity points, prizes, and Chocolatesto be spent in the Chocolate Shop.
There is a capon how many Chocolates you may earnper weekover all the characters and Playtime Date types. You cannot earn more than2,400 Chocolatesper weekthrough either Date type.
Even though you can only play each activitywith each guy three times, you canuse special ticketsto buy more Date opportunities. However, using Playtime Tickets (Kitty TicketsandClaw Machine Tickets) to add Date opportunitieswill not increasethe number of Chocolates you can earn in a week.
Some events will give you Chocolate as areward for completing event tasksand stories.
Kitty Cards
Kitty Cards is a card game withtwo difficultytypes: Normal and Advanced.
The rules of Kitty Cardsare fairly simple: play Number Cards to fill the board with Kitties. The goal is to have themost valuable Kittieson the board and end the game withmore points than your opponent.
After completing a game of Kitty Cards, you’llearn Chocolates and Meowco tokens. Meowco tokens can be exchanged at theKitty Counterto open specialKitty Badge packs. Kitty Badges are collectibles you can use as decorations on the ‘With Him’ desk.
Earning Kitty Badges will also count towards each of the guys’special collectionsat the desk, and you’ll get rewards for completing the collections.
Every love interest hasseparate collectionsand Meowco Tokens.
Additionally, you canplay little trickson your companions during a game and vice versa. For instance, if youbeg Zayne, he maygive you his cardsin normal mode. Sylus will offer totradecards.
Rafayel will attempt toswap your cards, you may try tograb a second number cardfrom the deck when playing with Caleb, and you canswap Xavier’s cardswhile he’s sleeping.
Claw Machine
There arefour typesof Claw Machines for you to play:Standard, Balance, Fun Wheel, and Dynamic.
In all the Claw Machine types,either you or your companioncan be the one to play the minigame. You canswap characters at any time,so long as the round hasn’t started yet.
If your partner is the one to play the Claw Machine,tap on his shoulderto cheer him on. This will give him anextra luck boostwhile playing the machine. He will even ask you which Plushie you want him to go for, and aim for that Plushie.
Sometimes, your partner willrefuse a swap. When this happens, you will need towait for the next roundto ask to swap again.
Standardis your typical Claw Machine, but inFun Wheel, the Plushies in the Claw Machine willrotate aroundthe central drop zone, upping the difficulty level.
InBalance mode, the aim is to use atwo-pronged clawto knock a Plushie box into the pit. InDynamic,the objective is the same, but thePlushie will moveback and forth.
Every week there is adifferent set of Plushiesyou can earn. After earning one of each Plushie per set, you canunlock Shiny variantsof that Plushie. Check your Collections Tab to see how many Plushies you have earned with your partner and what’s left to collect in each series.
Each love interest also hasspecial rare Plushiesto discover and unlock.
You can use the Plushies you have collected asdecorationson your desk.
As you collect Plushies and play with the Claw Machine, yourpartner may also use his Evolor special skill to affect the Claw Machine.
Xavier will summon ahalo of lightaround the Claw, Zayne willfreeze the Clawto keep plushies from escaping, Rafayel canbuy more Claw Machine chances, and Sylus willsummon a plushie. We’re still not sure what Caleb can do at the Claw Machine, but we’ll update you as soon as we do.
Photo Studio
The Photo Studio isn’t as interactive as other Date types, as you won’t be able to learn any new information about or speak to the love interests. However, you canuse the poses, outfits, and backgroundsyou collect from events and achievements in the Photo Studio tocreate photosfor your in-game album.
you may get more appearance-change items— like clothing, poses, and accessories — through completing achievements, earning them from events, earning them with Affinity Level, or purchasing them through the shop with various currencies.
There arethree kindsof photoshoots to complete.
All photos that youchoose to savewill show up in yourAlbum. You can choose todownload Album snapshotsto your device, but any snapshots you save will remain in the in-game albumuntil you run out of room.
Wink Snapshot
Wink Snapshot allows you to takestatic snapshotsof you, your partner, or the two of you together. you’re able to takefour photosin Wink Snapshot during a single shoot.
You can change youroutfit, addaccessories, chooseposes, choosebackgrounds, and addframesandstickersto your final images.
AR Snapshot
In AR Snapshot, you can put your love interests intoreal-world environmentsusing your device’s camera. Similarly, you can also take pictures of your love interestswith you in the real world. This augmented reality mode can reallyadd to the immersive experienceof interacting with the romance options.
Glint Photobooth
Glint Photobooth is themost involvedof the Photo Studio modes. Here, you’re able to choose to takefull-body imagesusingdynamic, static, duo, or soloposes.
You cancustomize the background, lighting, and even wind intensityof each image. you’re able to alsoadjust camera angles, character gaze,andcharacter placementfor every pose.
Some outfitsaren’t compatiblewith certain poses. Toavoid clipping, keep the compatibilitytoggle turned on. However, if you’d like to experiment with poses and outfits that may cause some image distortion, you can toggle the compatibility toggle andignore pose-outfit incompatibilityissues.
If you want to capture a character in adynamic pose, you canpausethe pose andmanipulate the settingsonce you’ve found the image you like.
If you want to createmore dramain your photos, you can use thepro lighting modeto altersaturationlevels,tilt, lightcolor, lightintensity, and lightdirection, and choose betweenkey and filllights. For even more drama,try adding SFXaround your characters. SFX are special particles that will float around your subjects.
Finally, once you’ve taken the perfect photo, you cansave it as a templateand use it later. You can alsoshare your templatesorimport templatesfrom a friend. You havetwo freetemplate slots to use, but you can buy more using100 Diamonds.
By Your Side
By Your Side Dates aresimilar to audio booksor podcast stories you may listen to. Each one is abrief short storyinvolving the characters.
You can unlock By Your Side stories bypulling four-star memoriesfrom the Wish Pool, Silver Galaxy Explorations, or by earning them from events.
Secret Times
Secret Times arenighttime audio storiesthat involveno reading. Each one is a combination ofASMR sound effectsanddialogueto create animmersive audio experience.
Some Secret Times stories areparts of larger storylines, like characterMyths, while others arestandalone anecdotes.
Usually, Secret Times and Tender Moments come fromfour-star memory cards. However, some four-star cards can also beMemoria storieswithout Kindled moments.
Tender Moments
Similar to Secret Times, Tender Moments arestories you can listen tothat are either separate from or part of the main storylines. However, unlike Secret Times stories, youhave to be able to read the narration and player dialoguewhen interacting with Tender Moments.
Only the love interest and NPC dialogue will be voiced.Your character won’t have any spoken lines, so you will need to be able to read your parts if you want to understand the full scope of the story.
You will also have access to awritten transcriptof the story so you can follow along if you missed something. This is also where you will save your favorite voice lines.
Falling For You
Falling For You stories are themost interactiveof all the Date types. Here, you can play the interactive stories you earn fromStoryline progression, Affinity progression, or by pulling five-star memoriesfrom events and Wish Pools.
Five-star memories areKindled, which means you canplay the ‘Kindled’ momentof their Date storyline by selecting the Kindled button in the Memory tab. Kindled moments arebrief snapshotsof the most interactive or cinematic moments of the full Date.
Four-star memories in the Memoria tabwon’t have Kindled moments.Instead, where they would normally have a Kindled moment, they will show the memory’smain imageto provide context to the story.
Many of the Falling For You Dates can bereplayed to earn one hundred percent completion, meaning you will need to replay the Date at least in part tounlock all dialogue choicesand see every permutation of the story’s ending.
Bond
Bond storiesare Dates that establish your relationship with a characterthrough their main storyline. To unlock Bond stories, you need toincrease your Affinitywith the characters. Each Bond unlocks at a different Affinity level.
Memoria
Memoria are the Dates that you unlock whenreceiving a five-star memory.
Some memories arepermanent in the Wish Poolsand can bedrawn by spending Empyrean Wishes, while others areevent-specificand only available for a limited amount of time.
You only need topull one copyof a memory to unlock its Memoria Date.
Myths
Myths arepieces of main memorystorylines. When you unlock a Myth memory, youunlock a Myth path— similar to anorigin storyfor the love interest’sfirst meeting with your characteror an incarnation of your character, or to continue an’off-screen' momentfrom the main story.
To play Myths, you need topull multiple five-star memoriesand earnMyth Shards. You will get Myth Shards by enhancing a five-star Myth memory throughleveling up. Use Bottles of Wishes tolevel up the five-star Memoriesso you can hit certain milestones and open gift boxes.
There areseveral chaptersto a myth, and each chaptercosts one more Myth Shardthan the previous chapter.
You can play thefirst halfof a myth if you have only onehalf of the Myth Pair, but you can only play the full story if you haveboth Myth Pair memories.
Anecdotes
Anecdotes areless interactivethan other Date types, but no less informative.
In an Anecdote, youunlock small chaptersof written stories. Each character has a few different Anecdote stories to unlock.
You have to haveread the previous chapterof an Anecdote before the next chapter becomes available.Reading every chapterof an Anecdote will give you completion rewards.
You canskip to the endof an Anecdote tooverride the reading requirementand earn the rewards early. To do this, justkeep pressing the next buttonuntil you land on the final page of the anecdote.
We still recommend reading each anecdote, though, as there is some juicy drama and information to uncover in each one!
