World Zero is one of the biggest games that have ever come out onRoblox. In World Zero, you will find yourself exploring ten vast worlds filled with enemies, dungeons, and amazing legendary gear. Not everything is available to you right away, however, as entering new worlds requires you to be of a certain level.
You might find yourself stuck grinding for a while to unlock the next step in your journey or trying to gain prestige quickly to unlock new classes. We have compiled a comprehensive guide to avoid dry gameplay and stick to progressing as quickly as possible. Let’s dive in!
What Are Levels
Levels are the main progression systemof World Zero; to level up,you will need XPwhich can be obtained bycompleting quests and killing enemies. Levels indicate which gear you can use, and which areas you can access. The maximum level a character can have is level 150, and this level is saved only for that character and save file - if you make a new character, that character will have to start at level 1.
Your level dictates which level of gear you’re able to obtain from dungeons, too.You cannot obtain gear that is of a higher level than yoursvia dungeons, but if you do obtain it any other way,you won’t be able to equip ituntil you at least match the level of the gear first.
What Are Prestiges
Once you reach level 135you can Prestige via the Classes menu, resetting yourself back to level 1 and undoing your world quests. Every time you do, you will be granting yourself apermanent +20% XP boost and a +0.5% chance boostto legendary gear. Some classes need a certain prestige level, too.
Everything else will be left as it was, so any gear you had - you’ll keep, but won’t be able to equip. Mounts, Cosmetics, Gems, Battlepass progress, and Side Questsare left untouchedtoo.
You can prestige up to four times, and each time you do - the border around your level will change color, to represent which prestige you’re on.The bonuses are additive, so at Prestige 4, you will have a +80% XP boost and a +2% legendary gear chance boost.
What Are The Level Requirements
Each world in World Zero islocked behind a level requirement. There are ten worlds in total, and these are the level requirements for each one:
Apart from unlocking the world itself, inside each world, some dungeons also require a certain level. Every five levels, a new dungeon is unlocked - except Worlds 1 and 2, which have a new dungeon unlocked every few levels, less than five levels each.
To help you in your journey, every world has a collection of main and side quests. These are not necessary to do to progress, but they always reward a nice sum of XP and, at times, gear as well.
Special Worlds
There aretwo Special Worldsthat don’t count towards progression, those beingthe Marketplace and PVP Arena. The Marketplace is a place wheregear and cosmetics can be soldand is usually a hot spot for player merchants withrare cosmeticsto gather and sell their valuables. It requires level 100.
The PVP Arena is a place whereyou can test out your skills against other players. There aren’t any rewards to fighting and winning,it’s just for fun. It requires level 40.
How To Level Up Fast
Now that that is explained, let’s cover the best method to level up from level 1 to level 150. This will includemostly repeating specific dungeons in a certain way, and for this, we recommendalways playing the dungeon in Challenge Mode. This is important, as Challenge Mode spawns more elite enemies, which dropten times more XPthan regular variants of these foes.
The journey to level 135 will be relatively short, but the closer we get to level 150,the grind will slow down a loteven with the fastest method. If you’re interested in prestigingas quickly as possible, then follow this guideuntil level 135 only- you won’t gain anything to your prestige if you keep grinding after that.
Worlds 1 And 2
In Worlds 1 and 2, the gap between levels is too big for us to recommend doing any specific dungeon - so until you hit World 3,do the highest level dungeon you can on Challenge mode. Main quests and side questsdon’t give you a good amount of XPat this point, so if you’re looking for the fastest way to level up,just ignore these.
We still recommenddoing the Dire Boarwolf side questin World 1, as the reward for completing it is a mount which will let youblitz through the dungeonsway more quickly. It’s not necessary, but it is a nice bonus to have.
Worlds 3, 4 And 5
Once you’ve hit World 3, do the dungeons on Challenge Mode until you’ve unlocked the last one -Winter Dungeonat level 40.This dungeon will be the best for XPfor the entirety of Worlds 4 and 5 too, assuming it’s also played in Challenge Mode.
Drag all the enemies together, and then attack them all together at once - rinse and repeat until you reach the boss. Seemingly counter-intuitively,the boss does not give a lot of XP- so, if you’re not looking to get better gear, you’re able to hit the Escape key on your keyboard, and then click Reset toreset yourself right as the boss fight starts. Then, hit Play Again, and do this step againuntil you’ve reached level 75.
World 6
At level 75, you will unlock the first dungeon of World 6 -Rough Waters. In this dungeon on Challenge Mode, you can simply grind the enemies of each area until the boss, where you will once againreset at the boss fightand play the dungeon again if you don’t need stronger gear. This will again be the best dungeon to grinduntil level 95.
Worlds 7 And 8
At level 95, you will unlock the second dungeon of World 7 -The Labyrinth. This dungeon is different from the previous one, asyou’re going to want to reset in the miniboss fightwith the Sentry Of Cerebrus. This dungeon is long, soonly finish it if you are in dire need of gear; World 8 does not have anything better to offer,so grind this one until level 115.
Worlds 9 And 10
In World 9, the first dungeon, Treetop Trouble, is better than The Labyrinth dungeon from World 7 - but, once you’ve reached level 120we recommend grinding the second dungeon,Aether Fortress, instead. This dungeon is thebest in the game currently for grinding XP, and we recommend grinding enemies until you’ve reached the first miniboss fight. At the miniboss, you can kill all the regular mobs and thenreset right after.
Getting to level 135 won’t take long at this point, but going from level 135 to level 150 might take as much time as the entirety of the rest of your journey so far - so we recommend doing this only when you’d like to explore the content level 150 offers.
What Does Level 150 Unlock
Getting to level 150 is no easy feat, but if you do - in World 10, you will find portals toNightmare versions of previous dungeons. Here, all the enemies are level 150 - but the gear you get as a reward at the end of the dungeon is going to belevel 150as well. This is the best way toget some of the best gear in the game, but keep in mind that you can only have it equipped if you are level 150 - so once you’ve prestiged, you can’t use it until you’ve done the entire grind again.
For this,we recommend grinding to level 150 only once you’re on Prestige 4- so you don’t have to do it again, but also so you have the highest chance of getting level 150 legendary gear.
