Knowing how to approach Mephisto can mean the difference between scoring a powerful weapon or finding yourself low on health at the worst possible moment. Ready to roll the dice? If you come prepared, the rewards might just be worth it. If not… well, let’s just say there are safer ways to get through Fortnitemares.

How To Make A Deal With Mephisto

In Fortnite’s Fortnitemares event, you’re are tasked with completing quests, and one of them involvesmaking a deal with Mephisto. This figure awaitsat the far east end of The Underworld, where helounges on a throne, ready to offer you a tempting bargain.

Receive A Weapon

Once you reach Mephisto’s location, interact with himto trigger the exchange. In return forsacrificing 20 health points, you’llreceive a random weapon, which canvary in rarity. The weapon you get is completely unpredictable — ranging from common to legendary — making this challenge a gamble. you may do thisup to ten timesin a single match.

We recommend making the deal with Mephistothree times. Each interaction deducts 20 health points, but multiple tries increase your chances of receiving a powerful gun. After the third trade, you’ll have lost 60 health, but using a med kit afterward will restore you to full health, leaving you armed and ready for battle.

Revive Teammates

If you’re playing with a squad, Mephisto offers another option:sacrificing 99 healthtorevive your teammates. This nearly drains your entire health pool, but in return, any eliminated squad members are brought back into the match.

Since this ability can only be used once per game, it’sbest saved as a last-ditch effortwhen you’re the only one left standing. However, if there’sa reboot van nearby, it may be the safer option.
