As you explore inDisney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll come across various creatures that roam your village alongside your villagers. However, not all of them are friendly. While they won’t outright attack you, the Night Mites are a threat nonetheless. They have the same impact as Night Thorns, poised to erase the memories of everyone in the valley!
However, you’re able to stop them. Team up with Timon and Pumbaa to fight against the Night Mites, destroy their nests, and save the valley from another Forgetting. Here’s how to get started on your first infestation mission with Timon in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How To Catch The Night Mites
Immediately aftercompleting A Creepy Crawly Mystery, you’ll start this quest. Make your way to the Plaza andspeak with Timon. He’s sure there are Nitght Mites around here, but you’ll have to catch them yourself.
There arethree Night Mitessprinting around the Plaza, all of which willlead you back to their nestif you follow them. Catch each of the bugs, theninteract with the nestto break it. Unfortunately, though, the nest won’t budge.
Tell Timon what happened, and he figures you need to increase your strength before you may break open the nests.
How To Break The Night Mite Nest
Find the Forgottenand ask them about clearing out the Night Mite Nest. They do have a potion that might help youincrease your strength, but they haven’t tested it out themselves.
Timon also suggestsdressing up as a giant bugto trick the Night Mites into letting their guards down. You’ll need to craft a set of wings to complete the look.
Brew The Dreamlight Boost Tonic
Tomake the Dreamlight Boost Tonic, you’ll needNight Mushroom, Ginger, and Sugarcane. Night Mushrooms can be found in the secret room within the Frosted Heights.
Once you have everything, cook it up at the nearest cooking station.Drink the potionto increase your strength, allowing you to finally break the Night Mite Nests.
Craft The Night Mite Wings
Since the Night Mites are now aware that you’re trying to defeat them, they’ve raised their guards. Timon insistsyou’ll need a disguise, and dressing like a giant Night Mite will allow you to get closer to the nest again.
Tomake the Night Mite Wings, you’ll need to combine the following materials:
Put everything together at the Crafting Station, thenreturn to Timon.
Break The Night Mite Nest
Timon is excited that you’ve got everything in order. He asks that youdress in some purple and black clothingwith the Night Mite Wings before going to destroy the nest.
Once you’ve donned your disguise,head back to the Plazaand smash the nest by interacting with it. The nest will crumble into pieces, and you canreport your success back to Timon.
