How To Ping On The Minimap
The ping system allows you to mark locations on the minimap toalert your teammatesabout various activities or strategies. To initiate a ping,simply hold down the ‘left alt’ buttonand click either the’left’or ‘right mouse button’on the desired location on the minimap. Doing socreates a green circlethat indicates the area of interest.
This feature is particularly helpful for coordinating team actions, whether you’re defending against an enemy assault, calling out a neutral camp, or alerting your allies about the Spirit Urn.
How To Draw On The Minimap
Drawing on the minimap is another feature that can aid communication. To draw,press and hold the ‘left alt’ button, and thenhold the ‘left mouse button’to create your desired markings on the minimap. This allows you tohighlight specific paths,strategize positioning, orindicate areas that require attention. It will alert the rest of your teammates.
You can use both the minimap ping and draw systems while waiting to respawn. However, keep in mind that these features are unavailable while you are actively in the game.
How To Ping In-Game
To ping in-game,press the middle mouse buttonwhileaiming your cursorat the target you wish to ping.
If youpinganenemy, the system willhighlight that enemy in redand draw a red line to indicate that they have been pinged.Pinging an areadoes the same but ingreen, making it crystal clear where you want your teammates to focus.
Hold down the middle mouse button after your ping to select a dialogue option that explains what you’re trying to convey. Need backup? Or are you charging into enemy territory? Let your team know!
