There are more than a few mini-games inLove And Deepspace, but Kiitty Cards is probably one of the most involved minigames you can play. Kitty Cards may look like a cute, cuddly, and simple game, but it’s harder to win than it looks.

Kitty Cards requires a fair bit of strategy to win, especially if you’re playing Kitty Cards Advanced. You also only have a few opportunities to play Kitty Cards a week with each of the romance companions, so you need to be intentional about your strategy if you want to make the most out of each game.

Placing a number card on a cup of thesame color doubles the valueof that card. A blue four placed in a blue cup will give you eight points total for the cup. Placing a colored card on ablank teacupwill only award you thevalue written on the card.

Placing a colored card on a colored cup of thewrong colorwillnullify the card’s valueentirely, awardingzero points.

How To Play Kitty Cards Advanced

Kitty Cards Advanced is as difficult as it sounds. Thebasic rulesof Kitty Cards still apply here, but with some added chaos mixed in.

Turns havetwo partsto them in Kitty Cards Advanced. The first half of your turn is theAssist Card phase. During this phase you willalways draw one Assist Card. You can playas many Assist cards as you havein your hand, or you can choose to end the Assist Card phase bydrawing an Assist Card or skippingthe phase.

If you play an Assist Card, your opponent can play a special card calledMeowsterif they have him in their hand. Meowsternullifies the effectof whatever Assist Card you played.

If you haveanother Meowsterin your hand, you can use it tocancel outthe first Meowster. Meowster canstack infinitely, kind of like an Uno Reverse card.

On your opponent’s turn, you can choose to play a Meowster from your deck if you have one to cancel out their Assist card. Meowster will cancel Assist Cards thattarget youas well as Assist Cards thatdon’t target you.

Meowster cards have atimer. If the timer runs out before you decide to use the Meowster card, youlose your chance to nullifyyour opponent’s Assist Card.

Tips For Winning Kitty Cards

While the basic game rules are relatively easy to grasp, there are somestrategies you’re able to useto take the basics up a notch and ensure victory.

Succeeding in Kitty Cards is heavily determined by how lucky you are atdrawing number cards, but you can still make an impact with a bad hand. The best way to do this is tonullify colored cupswith low-value Kitties of another color.

For example, say you have a feeling thatSylushas agreen sixcard in his hand and there areonly two cups lefton the board, a white cup and a green cup. You have ared onecard in your hand. On your turn, the best thing to do would be toplay that red one on the green cupto ensure that Sylus can’t use it to double his six.

Another tip to keep in mind is how to play a card when you have the upper hand. If there isonly one cup leftopen on the board, and you have thehighest point total, don’t skip your turn and hope for a higher card.Play whatever card you havein your hand and close out the round. You’ll automatically win.

Finally, be smart about when you draw cards from the number pile. Draw from the draw pileonly when you have the upper handpoint-wise, when you areout of cards, or when youropponent has no choice but to draw a cardin his next round. This ensures that you can play a card on your next turn.

Tips For Winning Kitty Cards Advanced

The strategy for winning Kitty Cards Advanced is a little more complicated than in a regular game. Because you now have thechoice to play Assist cards, there are now dozens of ways to play a hand.

One great strategy isnot to bank your Assist Cards. Assist Cards can be playedback-to-back, so you canflood your opponent with penaltiesand give yourself valuable boosts by repeatedly playing your Assist Cards. This can createpowerful chain reactionsto sweep the board and turn the tide in your favor.

The only cards you should be more precious about are yourNumber Cardsand Meowsters as these only have aselect number of uses. Use your Meowsters wisely as some cards havesafer penaltiesthan others.

You should almost always use Meowster tonullify the Bye-Byecard.

Another strategy is totime your Assist Cards right. Playing Assist Cards when you know youropponent has none in his handensures that he can’t counter you with a Meowster.

If you have a Bye-Bye card in your hand, always use it totake out his highest value cup!
