There are over a dozen rifts inThe Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom, and the major ones require a great deal of effort to find and get to. You’ll make new friends along the way, and they’ll help you in your adventure. Climbing the Hebra Mountains, a fluffy fellow named Conde will show you the way to the top of the holy mountain nearby.
Along the way, you’ll face treacherous and icy puzzles that complicate the journey. Thankfully, with a little help and guidance, you can navigate the way forward to seal the rift on Holy Mount Lanayru with Zelda!
Where To Find Conde
When you set out for thenorthernmost regions of the map, you’ll need to come prepared with plenty of smoothies thatprovide ice resistance. The unforgiving cold willwhittle away your healthuntil there’s nothing left, and you’ve got a long way to go before the storm lets up.
You can alsouse fiery echoes like Ignizoland a brazier to keep you warm!
As you pass by snowy monsters andwork your way up the mountain, you’ll meet Conde outside his home. He invites you into his home, where you’ll get to learn more about him.
Make sure tointeract with everythingwhile you wait out the storm to learn more about how Conde ended up alone on the mountain. Conde will let you know when the coast is clear, heading out into the snow anddigging a path into the cavefor you.
Following Conde Into The Cave
Head into the caveConde cleared. The room is filled with tall blocks of ice, sothaw them out with your echoesto reach the next room. Thedoor can be found in the far right cornerof the chamber.
Pass through to a chamber withtwo Ice Keeseflying about. Defeat them andlearn the echoif you wish, buy proceed through the door to the north.
The two passageways in the next chamber lead to Conde and a treasure chest. The room to the right will reward you if you canpass by several large snowballsthat barrel towards you.
Bind Tri to them touse the snowballs as shieldsas you make your way up the ramp to collect the treasure chest.
Take thedoor to the northafter thawing a path to it. Conde is just beyond,shoveling snow into a rift.
The Hebra Mountain Cave Rift
Talking with Conde will reveal that he’strying to seal up the rift, but it’s not working. While he won’t listen to reason, you may enter thechamber to the westand create an opening in the rift.

Enter the rift andsearch for Tris friendswithin. Finding them all willrestore the rift, allowing Conde and you toproceed farther up the mountainin search of the major rift at the top.
Navigating The Ice Caves
Take the ladder upwards, thenuse Tri to move the blocks of ice or melt themto proceed forward. Fire slugs are perfect for climbing along the rock walls to melt more blocks of ice.
In the next area, giant snowballs threaten to crush you. Ascend the ladder andtime your movementsto avoid the crushing blows.Defeat the evil snowmanin front of the second ladder, then climb into the room above.
You can test your luck by taking an alternative routeto the west to grab some lootfrom a treasure chest!
Proceed outside to the next level of the mountain.Head to the west, moving carefully along the freezing cold pond to find another cave entrance. Make your way inside to start climbing higher.
Herethe floor is breakable, and the monster flying around the room will drop bombs that shatter it. Defeat the monster quickly or bypass it using your echoes toclimb up the icy platform at the far endof the chamber.
In the next room, there are plenty of powerful fans that will have you slipping across the fields of ice. Block them with boulders and carefully navigate across the ground to reach the other side of the cavern.
The Flying Tile echocan be useful here if you have trouble crossing the slippery floors.The Golden Sashcan be just as useful!
Once in the adjacent chamber, the doors will lock and you’ll need to defeat all the enemies to proceed. While two Ice Keese make an appearance,a Zol hides in the ice to the far right cornerof the room.
Proceed through the door to the north toslay Freezard monsters, then take the passage to the west. A Moblin encased in ice waits for you, but you can pass right by it into the next room.Defeat the Boarblins hereto take a ladder up to the next floor. Here, you’ll need tonavigate falling icicles and Ice Octoroksto reach a floating platform.
Hop into a pot to avoid the icy spoutsthat block your path so you won’t freeze or take damage.
Once you’re back outside,carefully dodge the falling snowballs. When you reach the rock wall,head east along the snow-covered pathuntil you reach Conde.
Reaching The Peak Of Mount Lanayru
Walk through the icicles to the north, then head into the cave to the east. Inside, you’ll need to carefully navigate the cavern as giantsnowballs roll downthe slopes. An Ice Octorok will try to strike you, so either slay it or climb over it.
Proceed along the rock walls to avoid the snowballs.Continue to the top of the chamberto reach the ladder. In the top chamber, there aretwo Temper Tweelus monsters.
Hurry past them toreach the outsideonce more, where you’ll meet Conde again. This time, on the peak of the mountain, you’ll be able toenter the rift.
The Holy Mount Lanayru Temple
Inside the Mount Lanayru Rift, you’ll find the temperature-controlled temple. You’ll need to use your wits to alter the ice around you to reach the inner chamber where you’ll confront the dungeon’s boss.

Many puzzlesinvolve melting and freezing different areasaround the temple. There arefour floors to explore, and each one is filled with powerful monsters and slippery terrain.
Green Goo Boss Fight
The first boss you’ll encounter is made of green goo. While itlooks like a zol, it functions a bit differently. It absorbs the hot water from the spring and willseparate into smaller versions of itselfwhen the larger form is slain.

You’ll need to becautious and patientto defeat this monster. Once that’s done, hurry on through the rest of the dungeon tofind and obtain the big key.
Skorchill Boss Fight
Once you have the big key,you’ll be able to confront Skorchillwithin the innermost chamber. This fight will test your abilities to heat things up and cool them down, as he’llswap between fire and ice.

After Skorchill is defeated, Tri willgather with their friendsto restore the rift. You’ll return outside afterwards with a fewmore might crystals, ready to take on another rift!
