InThe Elder Scrolls: Castles, you’ll spend plenty of time curating the perfect little kingdom for all of your subjects. From decorating the halls to adding new rooms and work stations, you’ll have your hands full. However, what happens when plans change or you need to redesign the flow of your castle?

Thankfully, rearranging the castle doesn’t have to be difficult. We’ll walk you through how to navigate the menus, store decor and work stations, and delete rooms you no longer need to make room for bigger and better designs. Here’s how to fully renovate your castle in no time!

How To Store Decorations And Work Stations

When youclick on the construction iconin the bottom left corner of the screen, you canstart adding decorations and other work stationsto the castle. However, if you’re looking totransform your castle and rearrange the furniture, you’ll want to clear away as much clutter as possible.

You canstore the decorations by holding downyour finger on them, thendragging them into the bottom leftcorner. Drop them into thered storage crate iconand they’ll be added to your storage. You canfetch them at any timeand arrange them how you’d like.

When rooms and decorations are in storage,you won’t lose them!You can check how many of each you have available by looking for a number in the corner of the item card.

How To Move Rooms Around

While you can’t move an entire room as a unit, you candisassemble it piece by pieceto move things around. To clear a room, you’ll need tomove any decorations and work stationsto an available space.

Not all work stations can be put in storage!Essentials must remain out, so verify you have a place to move them.

Moving everything will take a bit of time, sokeep an eye on your Oil and Foodresources. They will continue todeplete while you move things around, and no one wants starving subjects to cause chaos during renovations.

You candrag work stations into the groundto have them turn red and float, but youwon’t be able to put anything in their placeuntil the work station isfully transferred to another location.

How To Delete Rooms

Deleting rooms is easy. All you have to do isclear away any of the objectsin the space, thenselect the room tool and tap on the blockyou want to remove. You’ll berefunded for the materials and goldspent to make the room, so you may easily start building elsewhere.

You’ll get back70 gold and 20 woodso you can recreate the room if destroyed by accident.

You canbuild almost anywhereand remove almost every room. However, youcannot remove the first two roomsnext to the castle door. These must always be in place, but you canbuild around them to create the castleof your dreams.
