Gundam Breaker 4is all about building your own custom Gunpla kits using parts from mobile suits throughout the Gundam franchise. Whether you’re simply changing the color scheme of your favorite mobile suit or creating an entirely custom creation, Gundam Breaker 4 lets you play how you want.
However, Builder Parts are an important part of your build, granting you access to powerful abilities, so it can be annoying when their appearance clashes with your model kit. Luckily, there are ways to remedy this slightly. Below, we’ll take a look at how to hide Gunpla parts using the rescale and adjust features.
How To Hide Gunpla Parts
Hiding parts of your model kit is done by rescaling and adjusting its position, allowing you to essentiallyhide it inside other parts. Of course, the effectiveness of this depends on what part you’re trying to hide, and what parts you’re using.
In general, to hide parts, you’ll need to use theAdjust option. First, select the part you want to hide, then select Adjust. For Builder Parts, press the button that corresponds to the “Menu” option, then select Adjust. In this menu, you’ll have the option to adjust the part’s position, scale, and a few other part-specific options, like turning on or off its component.
To hide your part, scale it down as small as it can go, then adjust the X, Y, and Z axes of theposition and rotationto move it inside of another nearby part. This is most easily done on the legs, so attach your Builder Parts to the various leg connections for an easier time hiding them.
Builder Parts willtemporarily revert to their original sizewhen their attached skill is used in battle.
In some cases, the part is just too big to be hidden inside another part. When this happens, you’ll need to get creative. If you can, try incorporating the part so that it looks like it’s part of the design. Changing the paint job of the part you’re trying to hide can also help it blend in.
Shields and Backpacks can be hiddenwithout having to rescale or move them. To do this, go to the Adjust menu on the Shield or Backpack, then toggle theAttachorVisibilityoption, respectively.
