There’s lots to tackle inDead Rising Deluxe Remaster, having you track down Cases to progress the main story and tackle additional Scoops that will lead to stranded Survivors or even dangerous Psychopaths. On top of that, you must focus on all these aspects in the span of three days (in-game-time), which can be stressful for newcomers.
Fortunately, all Survivors and Psychopaths show up in specific time windows, allowing you to track them down with relative ease and prepare ahead of time to find the best route and order you should save them. While still nerve-wracking, going in with a plan is much more manageable. It also helps that the Deluxe Remaster isn’t nearly as challenging as the original!
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster has18 Scoopsacross the 72 hoursyou will be exploring the mall with a total of33 Survivors, whereOtis will announce the location of stranded Survivors or Psychopaths, allowing you tohead to the area, find them and bring them back to the Security Room. It’s crucial you seek them out andsave them as soon as possibledue to the ‘Eight Active Survivors’ rule.
What this rule essentially means is thatthere can only be eight active Surivals in the Willamette Parkview Mall at a time, meaningOtis will not announce more Scoops unless there is enough spaceinside the mall for more Survivors to spawn. This willimpact both Survivors and Psychopaths,so ensure you’re staying on top of things to ensure they appear!
