How The Gallows Puzzle Works
The way to solve this puzzle is simple, you need to match the two pieces of text, and then decide who the most innocent party is.Once you have figured out who the innocent person is, you match the Roman numeral engraved beside it to the noose with thesameRoman numeral.
If you get the puzzle wrong, you will be transported to an underground area where you will be attacked by a swarm of Bubble Head Nurses, Lying Figures, and Mannequins. It should be pretty clear that the instance where the guilty party didn’t have a criminal intent is prisoner III.So, pull the noose in front of the Roman numeral IIIand you will find yourself in the morgue with a convenient hole that will allow you to escape this awful place.
