After progressing just a bit in the main story ofYs X: Nordics, you’ll quickly get introduced to the side quest mechanic with green icons on the map. These quests mostly unlock after you talk to a specific NPC, but you can also get some of these quests by interacting with specific items like the Treasure Charts.

You can find a total of six treasure charts around the map, and each one will trigger a different Treasure Trawl quest. It’s recommended to solve these as soon as possible since they can provide some rare rewards.

How To Solve Treasure Trawl

Before you start getting the Treasure Trawl quests, the game will attempt to get you used to the treasure-hunting by making you go through a similar quest given by Dogi. Once you’re done with that, you’ll start getting treasure charts randomly during your explorations, and these will automatically start the respective Treasure Trawl quest.

Once this quest starts, you’ll see an orange circle on the map. You’ll also get asmall hint regarding the location of the treasurein the dialogue that triggers after getting the chart. Simply head over to the orange circle and look for a glowing beam in the sea, which will be your final location.

Stop your ship completely on top of this beam andyou can salvage it to get all the treasure rewards.
