In chapter three, Max is there to help Diamond go scorched earth on Yasmin’s well-coiffed assistant. After all, how else is she going to get information onMaya Okadaand save her best friend?
To find out what dirt Vinh is hiding, you need to pick sides, and help Diamond in her quest for the crown. To do that, you’ll need to harness Max’s timeline-swapping powers. In this guide we’ll get into how exactly to pull off this bit of low-stakes espionage.
In theLiving World, find Vinh at his desk. Talk to him, and you’ll realize that this Vinh won’t give you any information on Maya Okada. So, swap to theDead World, and you’ll find the otherVinh arguing with Diamond in the library.
At this point, you will already have spoken to Yasmin in the FAB. No matter what dialogue option you chose, you learned that Vinh put out a statement after Maya Okada’s death, blaming her mental illness for her death.
Once Vinh storms off, give Diamond your dirt. It doesn’t matter how you handle this conversation, the resulting section will play out in basically the same way. Once you’re done talking to Diamond,head over to the Living World using the portal in the hallway.
With Diamond ready to confront Vinh, head over to Vinh’s desk outside Yasmin’s office, and useMax’s Pulse abilityto see what’s happening in the Dead World. Diamond will come in and pick a fight withVinh using the information you give her. This will spiral into a big shouty confrontation, prompting Vinh to reveal much more.
