How To Tame Lizard Doggos

Lizard Doggos are timid creatures that willrun away if you sprint near them, or if you get too close. To stop them from running away, crouch and slowly move toward them. When the Lizard Doggo starts to slowlyback away, get out aPaleberryanddrop it on the ground, then back away yourself.

As long as you don’t startle the Lizard Doggo by moving too quickly, it shouldapproach and eat the Paleberry. Then, move next to it andinteract with it to give it a pet. After successfully petting the Lizard Doggo, it will then be tamed.

When tamed, Lizard Doggos willattempt to follow you around, but they aren’t very fast and they also can’t jump. They can really only keep up with you if you arewalking at a normal speedwithout the Blade Runners equipped. If you get too far away from your Lizard Doggo, it will insteadroam around its current area.

Occasionally, Lizard Doggos willgenerate an item into their inventory. If you interact with your Doggo, you can then claim this item, allowing them to eventually pick up another. The rate at which Lizard Doggos get items israndom, so it may be helpful to keep them nearby and check on them often.

The Lizard Doggo can bring youalmost any item in the game, including ore, crafted components, weapon ammo, monster drops, healing items, and Power Slugs. Theycan’t bring Space Elevator componentslike Smart Plating.
