Vampire Survivorsbrings players into the Castle of Dracula in the new Ode To Castlevania DLC. In this new stage, you will find a myriad of monsters and boss battles crossing over from the beloved series, and you can play as one of 20 Castlevania protagonists.
However, once you finish the final boss fight in the DLC in a specific fashion, you will gain access to several surprises, which will add significantly more fun to an already varied DLC. Here we’ll tell you all about it!

How To Unlock Every Hidden Character In Ode To Castlevania
To unlock every hidden Castlevania character, you must firstreach the Throne Room at the end of the map while playing as Richter Belmont.Doing so will trigger a cutscene paying homage to the famous Dracula scene of Symphony of the Night, andafter unlocking Dracula as a playable character, a new fight will trigger.
After a short scene where Death strips you of all weapons, every Castlevania protagonist will come to your aid and help you defeat what seems to be the final boss of the DLC. After such an epic battle, credits will roll, and you will unlock theBlack Disk, a collectible that willenable you to unlock 20 more characters from the Castlevania series.
Keep in mind that, regardless of the unlocking requirements,characters will also cost gold, and their price varies from character to character.
Reach the Throne Roomplaying as Richter Belmont.Automatically unlockable.
Quincy Morris
Evolve thePlatinum Whip, Richter’s base weapon. To evolve this weapon, you must have the Platinum Whip at max level and a Clover in your inventory, then kill any boss and open the chest it drops.
Maxim Kischine
Evolve theVhibuti Whip, Juste’s base weapon. To evolve this weapon, you must have the Vhibuti Whip at max level and a Candelabrador in your inventory, then kill any boss and open the chest it drops.
Henry
Evolve theTyrfing, Reinhardt’s base weapon. To evolve this weapon, you must have it at max level and a Spinach in your inventory, then kill any boss and open the chest it drops.
Julia Laforeze
Evolve theGlobus, Saint Germain’s base weapon. To evolve this weapon, you must have it and an Empty Tome both at max level, then kill any boss and open the chest it drops.
Carrie Fernandez
Fully Evolve theCustos Glyphs, Cornell’s base weapon. To evolve them, you must have the three of them at max level, then kill any boss and open the chest it drops.
Rinaldo Gandolfi
Evolve theStar Flail, Sara’s base weapon. To evolve this weapon, you must have it at max level and a Pummarola in your inventory, then kill any boss and open the chest it drops.
Mina Hakuba
Evolve theIron Shield, Vincent’s base weapon. To evolve this weapon, you must have it at max level and a Parm Aegis in your inventory, then kill any boss and open the chest it drops.
Elizabeth Bartley
Evolve theUmbra, Shaft’s base weapon. To evolve this weapon, you must have it and an Attractorb both at max level, then kill any boss and open the chest it drops.
Reinhardt Schneider
Find andopen the Fourth coffinin Ode to Castlevania. This coffin can be located in the second area of the southern part of Dracula’s castle.
Isaac
Evolve theMace, Hector’s base weapon. To evolve this weapon, you must have the Mace and a Hollow Heart both at max level, then kill any boss and open the chest it drops.
Sara Trantoul
Evolve theAlchemy Whip, Leon’s base weapon. To evolve this weapon, you must have the Alchemy Whip at max level and a Tirajisu in your inventory, then kill any boss and open the chest it drops.
Evolve theFulgurand theKeremet Bubblesacross any amount of runs.
Albus
Fully evolve theConfodere, Shanoa’s base weapon. You can evolve this weapon up to two times by just leveling it up to max level, then killing any boss and opening the chest it drops.
Lisa Tepes
Evolve theWine Glass, Dracula’s base weapon. To evolve this weapon, you must have it and a Tirajisu both at max level, then kill any boss and open the chest it drops.
Shaft
Evolve theLuminatio, Lisa’s base weapon. To evolve this weapon, you must have it and a Crown both at max level, then kill any boss and open the chest it drops.
Saint Germain
Evolve theTrident, Isaac’s base weapon. To evolve this weapon, you must have it and a Duplicator both at max level, then kill any boss and open the chest it drops.
Nathan Graves
Evolve theSonic Whip, Sonia’s base weapon. To evolve this weapon, you must have the Sonic Whip at max level and a Skull O’Maniac in your inventory, then kill any boss and open the chest it drops.
Cornell
Evolve theSilver Revolver, Henry’s base weapon. To evolve this weapon, you must have it at max level and a Karoma’s Mana in your inventory, then kill any boss and open the chest it drops.
Barlowe
Evolve theOptical Shot, Albus' base weapon. To evolve this weapon, you must have it and a Karoma’s Mana both at max level, then kill any boss and open the chest it drops.
Second Wave Of Unlockable Characters In Ode To Castlevania
Once you go back to play this stage,you will now notice there are new parts of Dracula’s castle that you can explore, with new boss fights, new teleports, and such. Explore theupper left room inside Dracula’s castle, and a new boss fight will occuragainsta massive secret boss.
Once you defeat it, you will obtain an item calledPile of Secrets, which will unlock another wave of characters.
Play asMaria Renardwith theGemini arcanaequipped,andevolve PeachoneandEbony WingsintoVandalier.
Familiar
Playing as Julia, get the Familiar Forge weapon twice in the same run (you don’t have to choose the same familiar.)
Innocent Devil
Blue Crescent Moon Cornell
Playing as Cornell, evolve the Custos weapons (have the three at max level, then open a chest,) and kill 100,000 enemies once transformed.
Ferryman
WithRapidus Fio equipped(evolved from Sonic Dash + max-level Wings), you mustdash alongside the water area near the gates of the castle.
Master Librarian
Unlock theLibrarianas a merchant by acquiring theWood Carving Stone(dropped by the Treant boss in the southwestern part of the Stage map), thenbuy each weapon he sells at least once.
Hammer
Survive 30 minutes wieldingsix evolved weaponsthat belong to theCoat Of Armscategory(any passive is fine.)
Wind
Activate Eric Lecarde’s Burning Alcarde abilityat least three times in a single run.
Jonathan & Charlotte
DefeatLorettaandStellawith theSanctuaryspellbook equipped, in the tower before the Throne Room, near the teleport. This can be acquired byevolving the Refrectio spellbook plus a max-level Clover.

Defeat the secret boss Soleil Belmont while using Sanctuary, unlocked by evolving Refectio with a max-level Clover in your inventory. This boss is located in a room on the first tower of the castle, between the second and third teleporter.

Survive 30 minutesonly wielding the Raging Fire or Salamender spellbooks(any passive is fine.)
Dmitri Blinov
Kill Menace, the giant zombie boss in the Sewers, while playing asCelia Fortner.
Celia Fortner
EvolveUmbraandLuminatio, then level them both up to the max. Open a chest, and they’ll evolve intoUniversitas, their final form.
Graham Jones
Beat every single boss fightin the Ode To Castlevania stage in a single run, with any character. It is advised toturn the Endless Mode onto achieve this.

Defeat the secret bossJoachim while playing as Sara. This boss is located in a hidden ice cave, near the Serpent teleporter in the southern area of Dracula’s castle.

Kill Walter, the bosson the terrace near the first Arma Dioyou encounter in the castle, while playing asRinaldo Gandolfi.
Carmilla
Kill Carmilla, the boss located to the right of the King’s Gate teleporter, whilehaving a Nightmare spellbookin your arsenal. This is unlocked byevolving a max-level Hex plus a max-level Skull O’Maniac.
Count Olrox
Kill Olrox, the boss located on the left side of the room below the Church, at the east of the castle. You must alsouse the Dark Rift spell that you can buy from the Master Librarian.
Defeat enough Fleamen(any variant counts) across any number of runs.
Axe Armor
Kill enoughAxe Armorsusing theStellar Blade. This weapon is the evolution of a max-level Discus and a max-level Parm Aegis.
Frozenshade
Kill enoughFrozenshadesusing theJewel Gun. This weapon is the evolution of a max-level Silver Revolver and a Karoma’s Mana.
Succubus
Kill the Succubus bossusing theNightmare spellbook. This is unlocked byevolving a max-level Hex plus a max-level Skull O’Maniac.
Keremet
Kill the Keremet bossnear the Silver Ring, playing as one of theCharlotte/Jonathan or Jonathan/Charlotte duos.
Alamaric Sniper
Kill enoughAlamaric Snipersusing theStellar Blade. This weapon is the evolution of a max-level Discus and a max-level Parm Aegis.
Blackmore
Kill the Blackmore bosswhile playing asBarlowe. you may find this boss in the hidden area of the Library, near the coffin where Reinhardt is unlocked.
Malphas
Kill the Malphas bosswhile playing asQuincy or John Morris. This boss is an angel with black wings that spawns automatically after the 25-minute mark.
Death
Playing as Richter Belmont,get the Clock Tower weaponby evolving the max-level Endo Gears, Peri Pendulum, Myo Lift, and Epi Head. Then, go to the throne room andhave a rematch.
Galamoth
Kill the Galamoth boss, locatedon the left side of the room where the sixth teleport is, and you must also do it with thePower of Sirein your arsenal. To unlock this weapon, you musttake the Dominus Agony, Dominus Hatred, and Dominus Anger to their max level, then open a chest.

Final Wave Of Hidden Characters In Ode To Castlevania
You thought we were done? Nah nah,there are even more characters to unlock!To unlock this final wave of really powerful characters, you musthead to the southern area of the castle, and at the end of that path, you will find a final secret boss.
Beating this monster will reward you with theEbony And Crimson Stones, a new item thatunlocks four more characters.
