On a tropical island, it only makes sense that you will be able to fish! Thankfully,Hello Kitty Island Adventurelets you do just that. By completing a short quest for Badtz-maru, you’re able to get a fishing rod and catch a variety of fish around each island.
In this guide, we are going to go over all you need to know about fishing in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. This will cover how to unlock fishing, as well as every fish available in the game. First, let’s dive into the quest that you need to complete in order to start your fishing journey.
How To Unlock Fishing
to start fishing, you’ll need toraise your friendship with Badtz-maru to level three.This shouldn’t be too difficult though, as it’s arelatively low friendship level.
Once you’re at this friendship level, you can complete the questKeep It Reel.This quest is fairly simple; you’ll be tasked withcrafting a fishing rodwith the following materials.
Sticks can be found around the island andthread is given by Tuxedosamin exchange for gifts. Additionally,gizmos are given by Chococatin exchange for gifts.
After crafting the rod at Chococat’s crafting table, you’ll need tohead back to the docks with Badtz-maru and get a quick fishing tutorial.
How To Fish
With your rod in hand, head to the water andcast your line (press the fishing pole icon on the right side of the screen).The line will be cast out near fish, allowing you to see them swim around.
After a few seconds, you may start to see a fish swim up. If all goes according to plan, the fish should bite; at this point,press the fishing pole icon again.From here, you will be able totap arrows going to the left and right.
Your goal is to keep the line centered in the bar bytapping in the opposite direction that it’s moving in.We recommendkeeping your taps light.Additionally, if the gets too far to one side, it becomesquite difficult to reel it back into the center.
You can alsoput bait on your lineto encourage fish to bite.
