The concept of the multiverse inFunko Fusionis quite appealing, and the idea of bringing together beloved characters from TV shows, movies, and games, rather than just superheroes, makes it even more exciting. Since many of these are nostalgic and fan-favorite productions, being a part of those scenes adds to the enjoyment of the game.
While you mostly travel through movie and TV worlds, it’s also possible to encounter nostalgic game characters, with Mega Man leading the pack. However, unlocking Mega Man is not an easy task, and it’s quite a long journey. If you’re ready, let’s get started!
How To Unlock Mega Man
To find Mega Man, you need toplay the fourth chapter of the Scott Pilgrim world,Double Dragon. After completing the Mega Amp and defeating the Double Dragons, you’ll be able toexit the stage area.Leave through the left side of the yellow area where the Double Dragons spawn, then turn left. Continue straight down the street without turning off anywhere.
You’llsee a store with a Paka Paka sign ahead.As you approach it, there will be a silver chest on your left. There’s apurple chest hidden behind the snow pileat the back of this silver chest. Open it, and inside you’llfind a special purple access card.Take this access card back to the building where you fought the Double Dragons.
Once inside, there will bea device to the left of the Crowns Gold neon signwhere you can insert the card. After using the card, you’ll enter the arcade room and find Mega Man.
You won’t be able to talk to Mega Man at first because there will be a green barrier around him.Interact with the switch on the wallto the left of Mega Man, and the barrier will disappear.
Once you speak to Mega Man, you’ll learn that he’s weakened, and your mission will be to escort him back to his vehicle. While escorting Mega Man, enemies will attack, and you’ll need to protect him. Unfortunately, Mega Man isn’t very strong, so he can be defeated quite often.
His defeat won’t stop your progress; you caninteract with him to revive him, and he’ll continue moving forward. However, reviving and healing him will cost you your own health, so make sure tocarry healing sodas with you.After safely escorting Mega Man to his vehicle, he won’t unlock immediately. You’ll need tohelp him in six different levelsbefore unlocking him:

Every time you assist Mega Man and complete his task, he’ll give you a Mega Man Buster Protopart. Collect these and take them to the red machine to unlock a special weapon.
How To Find Mega Man In Umbrella Academy
To find Mega Man, you’ll need to play the first chapter of the Umbrella Academy world,House Hunters. After exiting the starting room, turn left, and you’llsee a door labeled ‘Security Level Two’.As you approach the door, you’ll hear Mega Man’s music playing.
To find the keycard for the Security Level Two door, you mustcomplete the chapter’s main objective, which involves defeating Hazel and Cha Cha. Once you defeat them, they will take Luther hostage. At this point,head to the upper floor of the room where Luther is being held.
To the left of the red machine, you’llsee a frozen purple chest.You can unlock it using one of two methods, but for both, you must have unlocked ‘The Thing’world.Use Childs’ flamethrower abilityfromThe Thingworld or grab the Gas Canister item from the blue machine and shoot it at the frozen chest to melt it.
Once melted, open the chest to find the Security Level Two keycard.Take the keycard back to the device near the starting area, and you’ll gain access to Mega Man. You’ll need to escort him again in this chapter, protecting him from enemies along the way.
How To Find Mega Man In Hot Fuzz
One of the places you need to find Mega Man is the Hot Fuzz world’s first chapter, calledPrime Time Crime. Finding him in this chapter is quite easy. All you need to do isexit the police station where the level starts and turn left on the street.
As you walk straight ahead, you’llsee him next to a green machine.However, this time, getting rid of the green barrier around him won’t be as simple. To do this, you’ll need toselect He-Man, one of the characters fromMasters of the Universe, and use him tobreak the golden cages around Mega Man.
To unlock He-Man, you’ll need to complete the first chapter of Masters of the Universe.
Afterward, you need to correctlyalign the lines on the circular partsalong the cable leading to the switch. Once you do that, you can use the switch to destroy the barrier around Mega Man. Once the barrier is gone, as always, you’ll need to escort him to his vehicle.
How To Find Mega Man In Masters Of The Universe
In the final chapter of the Masters of The Universe world, ‘Scare Mare’, you will need to find Mega Man. After leaving the starting point, you’ll soon encounter a boss, and a cutscene will play. To locate Mega Man in this chapter,you’ll need to control Number Fivefrom Umbrella Academy.
Once you’ve selected him, exit the starting area andcross the bridge just past the He-Man Funko.At the end of the bridge, you’ll notice a yellow arrow on the ground. Interact with it toteleport to the other side of the door.
Inside this room,break the wooden crates in front of the doorto reach the area where Mega Man is located. On the wall to the left of Mega Man, you’llsee a glowing neon logo.Shoot it with your weapon, which will cause the fuse box beneath it to explode.Remove the fuse from the box to disable the barrieraround Mega Man.
Now you’re able to talk to Mega Man. After your conversation, he’ll start moving, but he’ll get stuck at a stone gate. To lower the stone gate and let him pass, you’ll need toretrieve the triangular object from the room’s right side, next to the blue machine, andplace it on the device in the center of the stone gate room.
Once this is done, switch to either Prince Adam or Teela. Your next task is tostand behind the triangular object and shoot the electronic deviceson the walls:
Once the devices are activated, find the switch to open the door.Buy a portal from the blue machineand place it next to Mega Man. Then,teleport to the yellow portal above your current location.You’ll see the switch there—pull it to open the gate.
Finally, protect Mega Man and escort him to his destination, completing his mission in this chapter.
How To Find Mega Man In Back To The Future
There are several cameo worlds where you’ll need to find and assist Mega Man, one of which isBack To The Future. you may unlock this cameo worldfrom the Roy’s Records buildingin the first chapter ofJurassic World, titled ‘Dilopho Saw Us’.
In this cameo world, finding Mega Man is quite easy. After youexit the Roy’s Records building where you begin, turn left.Continue forward until you see the Motel building, and just past it, you’ll find Mega Man on the street. To free Mega Man from his usual green barrier, you’ll need a character who can shoot lasers.
Characters like Starbuck fromBattlestar Galacticaor Prince Adam fromMasters of the Universewill work perfectly.
First,shoot the triangular transparent object on the machine to the right of Mega Man, which will activate the electronic device on the door. The second electronic device is behind the portal to the right of the switch. To reach it,purchase a portal from the nearby blue machine.
Then, turn your back to the first activated device and place the portal in front of the triangular object.Next,stand between the door and the machine holding the triangular object, and shoot through the portal. The portal will hit the second electronic device, allowing you to activate the switch.
Afterward, speak to Mega Man as usual and escort him to his vehicle to complete his mission.
There are many enemies in this chapter, and it’s likely that Mega Man will take damage and become immobilized. verify to stock up on Full Health Sodas from the green machines.
How To Find Mega Man In Shaun of the Dead
In theShaun of the Deadcameo world, you’ll also need to find and help Mega Man. You canaccess this cameo world from the first chapter ofThe Thingworld, titled ‘Husky Hustle’.
After starting the chapter,ignore the main missioninvolving escorting the car for now. Reaching Mega Man will take some time.
First,exit onto the street and turn left.You’ll see a fire barrier in the middle of the road.Enter the building to the right of the flamesand go upstairs. Once there, turn right and break the purple door. With Scott Pilgrim or Stephen Stills selected as your character,shoot the amp behind the broken purple door.
The resulting blue sound wave will propel you into the building across the street. After exiting the building,head straight down the road.On your right, you’llsee a gate with yellow fragments around it—shoot the yellow parts to bring the gate down. Continue along the path, turn right, andbreak the purple gate to enter the garden.
Here, select Childs fromThe Thingworld as your character. Use his flamethrower tomelt the glowing red trash blocking your pathand continue forward. Once you’re back on the main street,turn left and jump over the wreckage attached to the yellow carlabeled ‘Ray Rescue’. On the other side, turn left again, and you’llsee Mega Man’s glowing green barrier in the distance.
However, a helicopter wreckage will prevent you from reaching him. Head over to the blue machine in front of Frederico’s store and purchase a Bounce Pad.Place the Bounce Pad in front of the ‘Foree Elect’building.Next, select Scott Pilgrim or Stephen Stills, and buy an amp from the blue machine. Use the Bounce Pad tojump to the second floor ofForee Elect.
Once there, place the amp in the red square and shoot it topropel yourself into the park.Exit the park and you’llreach the other side of the helicopter wreckage, where you’ll finally meet Mega Man.
Destroying Mega Man’s barrier is quite simple. All you need to do ispurchase a CSI Black Light from the blue machinein front of thePop Market. Use the black light toscan the crime scene next to the blue machineand reveal the evidence. You’ll earn a coin for finding the evidence, which you’ll thenplace in the device on top of the car to Mega Man’s left.
This will disable his barrier, and now your only task is to escort him to his destination. However, as you guide Mega Man,he will get stuck at the barriers in front of the park.To help him, you’ll need to find a fuse for the device to the left of the barriers.You must enter the wooden shackin the park to find the fuse.
You’ll need tobuy an amp and place it at the top of the slide next to the shack.Use the amp to break the glass roof of the shack and fly up onto the roof. Once inside,place the cylindrical glass object from the fuse box onto the rail device.
You’ll need a character like Prince Adam, who can shoot lasers, to fire through the cylinder and hit the device on the wall next to the purple chest. After hitting the device,open the purple chest to find a triangular transparent object.Place this on the rail device, aim it at the other device across the rail, and activate it.
This will cause the fuse box in the room to explode, allowing you to retrieve the fuse. Insert the fuse into the device next to Mega Man andfire a laser at the electronic device nearby.This will clear the obstacles in front of Mega Man, and you can safely escort him to complete his journey.
How To Find Mega Man In Nope
You canaccess the Nope cameo world from the third chapter of Battlestar Galactica, titled ‘Rough Fit Muffet’. After starting the chapter, exit the room andwalk around the building, keeping it on your right.At the back of the building, you will find Mega Man. To destroy his barrier, firstselect Childs, one of the characters from The Thing.
Then,use a flamethrower to melt the red barrels surrounding Mega Man.This will reveal a fuse. Place the fuse in the fuse box. Next,buy a battery from the blue machine, charge it with the device to the left of Mega Man, and then insert it to the right of the fuse box. This will eliminate Mega Man’s barrier. Talk to him and, as usual, accompany him to his vehicle while protecting him.
After assisting him in all six worlds, you will be able to select Mega Man from the levels featuring Scott Pilgrim world.
