During your time playingBlack Myth: Wukong, you’ll encounter a variety of bosses, some of which may present significant challenges. The Destined One has a range of tools to use against them, from the staff and armor to numerous spells and transformations. You’ll need to enhance these tools and adapt to each boss fight you face.
Among the gear available to the Destined One are Curios—equipment that grants your character valuable bonuses in combat, with different Curios offering various effects. While you start with only two Curios, which may seem sufficient, there is a way to expand the number of Curio slots you’re able to utilize.
How To Unlock More Curios Slots
In order to unlock more Curios slots in the game,you must complete the Chen Loong quest in Chapter Three to obtain theRuyi Scroll. This scroll will grant access to a secret hub area known as the Zodiac Village.
We have a detailed walkthrough for the Chen Loong quest availableif you need assistance completing it.
In the Zodiac Village,head to the left side to find a blacksmith. This blacksmith can craft new gear for your character, but more importantly, you will noticea “Challenge” optionin the menu.
Selecting this willinitiate a boss fight against the blacksmith, Yin Tiger.
Defeating Yin Tiger for the first time will unlock theEbow Flow Transformation. Afterward, interact with the blacksmith again, and instead of the “Challenge” option, you will now see"Equip More Curios."
Choosing this option willadd an extra Curios slot to your character menu,which you can use now to equip yourself with additional Curios of choice.
You can unlock an additional Curios slot after completing your first playthrough andstarting a New Cycle,essentially the New Game Plus feature in the game. Simply follow the same steps as above to unlock the fourth Curios slot.
