As you venture across the sweltering sands of the Gerudo Desert inThe Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom, Zelda and Tri will find many people that need their assistance. From the average commoner that has a request to the chief of Gerudo Town who needs a solution to restore the rifts, there’s a lot to get done.

Clearing up the rifts in the Gerudo Desert seems straightforward, but there’s more at work than meets the eye. Working together with determined people like Dohna, anything is possible. Here’s everything you need to know to help the Gerudo warriors with the rifts in Hyrule!

Where To Find The Gerudo Desert

Upon reaching the Gerudo Desert, you’ll want tohead west towards Gerudo Town. In this area, you’llfind the Gerudo Sanctumburied in the sand. It’s inaccessible at first, but you need to get in so you canrestore the rift.

Unfortunately, afterspeaking to the guardto the left of the sanctum, there’s no way in at the moment. However, whiletalking it over with Tri, you notice a woman in peril.

Fight off the dark monsters that attack her! Once they’re defeated, the woman introduces herself as Dohna. As you talk, she wants to set up ameeting with the chief of the Gerudoto grant you access to the sanctum, as she’s been looking for a way tofix the rifts.

Dohna asks you tomeet her in Gerudo Town, inside the palace. Make your way there to meet with the chief and her advisor. Here, they simply don’t believe that you may seal the rifts. Dohna vouches for you andswears to get proofof your powers.

She leaves and the guards outside tell you tomeet her at the oasisto the east.

Where To Find The Oasis

The oasis iseast of Gerudo Town, flush with vibrant grass and foliage. Several warriors wait for you here with Dohna. Speak to her and she’ll reveal her plan. There arethree smaller riftstearing the desert apart, and she wants you to close each of them.

The three rifts are located at the Southern Oasis Ruins, the Ancestor’s Cave of Rest, and the Southern Gerudo Desert.

Southern Oasis Ruins

Just south of the oasis, a couple of warriors areworn down from fighting monstersthat just keep coming out of the rift. Help them by slaying the creatures that emerge,using your best echoesto defeat them.

Once the monsters are defeated, the warriors decide to take a rest somewhere safer. Meanwhile,Tri looks for an openingin the rift and can’t find one.

Ancestor’s Cave of Rest

In this area, you’ll need to make your way through the chambers on the left toreach the Gerudo warrioron the other side of the rift. Once you reach her, you need tolight the braziersbeside her using your echoes.

Southern Gerudo Desert

When you arrivesouthwest of the oasis, you’ll find a group of Gerudo warriors worn out in the sands. They’re indesperate need of refreshments, so Dohna will send you toget smoothies for them.

After you’ve given the warriors the smoothie and checked out all three areas,meet Dohna back in the Gerudo Palaceto try and convince the chief and Facette to let you into the Sanctum.

Where To Find The Desert Temple Ruins

After you enter the palace andapproach the throneroom, Dohna will ask for access to the sanctum again. This time, the Gerudo warriors you’ve helped will vouch for you. However, before a decision can be made, news arrives thatthe Desert Temple rift has expanded.

Head off after Chief Seera and Facette,taking to the eastern sandsto find the ruins. They’re just past the Oasis. When you arrive, you’llfind all the Gerudo warriorsfrom before gathered here.

Enter the rift and search for Tri’s missing friends. They’rescattered in five different places, and finding them all will restore the rift, freeing the valiant Gerudo people trapped within.

After you display your powers and restore the rift,Chief Seera will grant you accessto the sanctum.

How To Unlock The Gerudo Sanctum

Before you can enter the sanctum, however, you’ll need topull the plugon the quicksand. Headinto the Cryptic Cavernto the west of the sanctum. Use boulders toblock the air streamsfrom the fans within so you can easily navigate through the different chambers.

You’ll want toreach the chamber in the back on the right, where you’ll smash a blue eye to make a treasure chest appear. Inside is the key that unlocks an iron door. Beyond that is a ladder that leads down tothe quicksand plug.

Bind Tri to the plug and pullto open the way to the Gerudo Sanctum.

How To Restore The Gerudo Sanctum Rift

With the Gerudo Sanctum unlocked, head inside andlet Tri create an openingin the rift. There areonly two floorsin the sanctum, but you’llface powerful enemiesinside.

You’ll need tochase after Dark Link and defeat himto unlock the Bow of Might. You’ll also need to learn the echoes for the different animal statues within the sanctum so you may offer proper tribute.

Offering tribute willopen the path to Mogryph’s chamber, where you’ll need to defeat him to free Tri’s trapped friends from within the rift. After Mogryph is defeated, you’ll be rewarded with might crystals.

Tri will take you back to Zelda’s world, where Dohna will greet you. The rifts are gone andthe Gerudo Desert is safefrom harm! You cancontinue on your journeywith Tri to clear up more rifts across Hyrule.
