During your time playingBlack Myth: Wukong, you’ll explore six different chapters, each featuring a unique region filled with various enemies and bosses. Every chapter in the game introduces a set of characters with quests that can reward you with new crafting materials, spells, transformations, or even unlock optional areas in the game.
After you reach Chapter Five in Black Myth: Wukong, you’ll encounter a quest known as the Five Element Carts, where your objective will be to locate all these carts throughout the region. Completing this quest is recommended, as it will unlock the secret area in Chapter Five.
How To Start The Five Element Carts Quest
The Five Element Carts questbecomes available after you reach Chapter Five, specificallyfollowing the boss fight against the Pale-Axe Stalwart, which is part of the main progression path.
Once the fight is over,speak to the Pale-Axe Stalwartand exhaust all his dialogue options. He will inform you that you need to locate five different carts in the region.
All of these carts,except the last two, are story-related, so you don’t have to worry about them. Their names are:
How To Complete The Five Element Carts Quest
You need to locate two more carts,one of which is linked to the Horse Guai quest. After reaching the Valley Entrance shrine and descending to the lava level, you’ll finda broken cart with a string hanging from it.
Interact with it andpull the stringat least once before proceeding.
For the final cart that you need, it is a long way to go, but we will start from theField of Fire - Fallen Furnace Crater Keeper’s Shrine. From there,backtrack and follow the path leading downto where the ball was rolling, continuing on this road.
Halfway through, you’ll notice a new path to the left side. Follow it, and you’ll eventually facea boss fight against theFlint Vanguard. Once defeated, continue down until you spot a shrine.
verify that you rest here to refill your health and gourd charges before advancing.
Up ahead, you’ll seea large gate. When you approach it, the final cart, theRusty-Gold Cart, will arrive, and you’ll need to defeat it.
After you’re done dealing with the last cart and just before the gate, you’ll find the Pale-Axe Stalwart lying on the ground.Speak to him to complete the quest, which will give you access to the gate andreveal the path to the secret area in Chapter Five.
