InChicken Police: Into The Hive!, while the story is quite gripping, it does end on a somewhat somber note. Chances are, as you played, things didn’t unfold as you expected, leading to a moment that dampened your spirits.
However, things don’t necessarily have to end on such a dark note. If you keep a strong rapport with your colleague Monica throughout the story and engage in plenty of conversations with her, a different ending awaits. Perhaps reaching this ending can offer you some comfort in light of the game’s otherwise sad conclusion.
How To Unlock The Secret Ending
The path to unlocking the secret ending hinges on your interactions with Monica, so be sure toexhaust all dialogue optionsand ask her every available question when you’re in the same area.
When you first arrive at the department, you’ll receive the’Speak With Monica’goal. Your objective here is to locate Monica, and after speaking with Moses, you’ll learn thatshe’s at the Shooting Range.Upon finding her there, you’ll get the’What’s Up With Monica?‘goal.
Then, once she returns to the reception desk,ask her ‘Everything is ok?'—but be sure to do this before moving on to Chapter Two.
InChapter Two, before heading to The Ivory Place, you’ll need toinvite Monica before speaking with Cassidy Lupus, though she’ll already be there as required. At The Ivory Place, after interrogating Lady Kayla and speaking with Lupus, he’ll recognize Monica and remember her as a former showgirl. This willgrant you the second clue for the’What’s Up With Monica’goal.
InChapter Four,when Sonny heads to the station to leave Clawville, Monica will arrive to stop him. Here,click three times on the suspicious cargoin front of the train. Sonny and Monica will then be taken back to Zipp’s Café, completing the’What’s Up With Monica’goal.Once this goal is completed,finishing the game will unlock the secret ending.
Completing the game with the secret ending willalso earn you the’Out of the Friendzone’achievement.
