With the release of the third DLC, Dark Horizon, forRemnant 2, players can embark on a new adventure in the N’Erud world, which you may already be familiar with from the base game. This expansion introduces numerous new locations to explore and secrets to uncover.
Similar to the previous two DLCs, Dark Horizon introduces a brand-new archetype called the Warden. However, unlocking this archetype isn’t straightforward; you’ll need to find a specific item before you may fully enjoy its features. This guide will walk you through all the steps necessary to unlock the Warden archetype.
The directions in this guidewill be based on the One Time Adventure of the Dark Horizon DLC.
How To Reach Withered Necropolis
Just like any other archetype in the game, you will need toobtain the engramto unlock the Warden archetype, which can be found inthe Withered Necropolislocation and you need to find it first.
Starting from theQuiescent Overlook checkpoint, continue up the hill until you encounter a character standing on the right side.Speak to him to unlock the use of gliders, which will help you navigate the map.
Use the glider ahead to reach the other side. Keep moving forward andtake the second glider to cross the valley and go through the hole in the wall.
To the right, you will see a wind vent. Use it to gain height with the glider, then take another wind vent to the right to reach the next area.
Here, you will find a checkpoint.To the right of it, go through the opening andtake the left path leading up.Continue along this route until you reach another glider. Use it to cross to the other side.
After reaching the opposite side, progress ahead and notice a checkpoint to your left. However, do not follow that path;instead, head to the right.
Eventually, you will arrive atan open area filled with flowers. Follow the path pointing towardthe large white orb up ahead, which will lead you toanother glider.
Use the glider tomove to the left side, aided by the wind vent. After that, continue along the main path until you spota yellow door. Go through it and use the elevator toreach the Withered Necropolis.
How To Unlock The Warden Archetype
After you reach the Withered Necropolis checkpoint, progress straight ahead until you spot a glider.Use it to hover down to the purple gap in the wall.
Utilize the wind vent andfollow the path to the right side, circling around the structureon your right.
After taking the third wind vent,fly upwardto locatea small entrance in the wall with a faint orange glow;this is where you need to land.
Once inside,turn leftand cross the bridge ahead. At the end of the bridge,follow the path, and you will spota glowing item from a distance.
Collect it to obtain theWeathered Mechanism, which is needed for the Warden.
Now, head back toWallace at Ward 13. With theWeathered Mechanism and five Lumenite Crystals, you can craft theCommand Module Engram.
All you have to do now isequip this Engramtounlock the new Warden Archetype.
