Summary

Jackbox is a constantly evolving party game series as new games, as well as evolved and revised versions of previous games, are introduced via each Party Pack. However, the team behind the series will introduce something entirely new to Jackbox this October. The Jackbox Survey Scramble, a new game with a database of answers that will constantly evolve based on the answers you give.

Like many other Jackbox games, Survey Scramble’s four games will require you and friends to answer questions, but the twist here is the correct answers are based on answers other players have given. Take Hilo which is one of the games included in Survey Scramble. In Hilo, you will be given a category and have to guess the most popular answer. Not only will the answer you give become a part of the database, whether it’s right or wrong, but if you get that category again in the future, your answer and the others given might have changed which answer is the most popular.

While Hilo tasks you with seeking out the most popular answers in certain categories, Speed requires you to uncover as many popular answers as you’re able to while rival players try to do the same. Game number three is Squares which is a little more complicated. Players work together to figure out the most popular answers in the first square, the most middling answers in the middle, and then hardest of all, the least popular picks in the final square.

The Jackbox Survey Scramble Will Evolve As More People Play

Oh, You’ve Seen This Category Before? That Means Nothing

Bounce is the fourth and final game included in Survey Scramble in which you will need to gauge where the game’s ball will bounce and then give your answer in an attempt to make where it falls on the scale line up with where the ball is going to bounce. Survey Scramble will be available onSteam,PlayStation,Xbox, andNintendo Switchfor $9.99 when it’s released at the end of October, but you may Wishlist it starting today and will be able to take it for a spin during Steam Next Fest. A demo featuring Hilo and Speed will be available during Next Fest which runs from October 14 through October 21.

The Jackbox Survey Scramble

Jackbox’s Survey Scramble includes four games, all of which require you to figure out how the rest of the world thinks. The twist is any answers you give will be added to its database, potentially changing what the correct answers are for others.

If you’re a Jackbox fan who plays with your family, I can already tell what you’re thinking because it was one of my first thoughts too. Many out there like to put the rudest, and in some cases downright disgusting, answers they can think of because, well, let’s be honest, it’s funny. That means non-PG answers potentially lurking in the Survey Scramble database. Fear not, as there’s a family-friendly setting that will eliminate those answers from the pool if you’re playing with little ones or easily offended grandparents.
