Square Enix Reveals Lineup For Tokyo Game Show 2024, Kingdom Hearts Absent

Tokyo Game Showpresented what wasprobablyKingdom Hearts fans' best opportunity to hear about the game this year. The series is huge in Japan, the game is set in Tokyo, and is being developed by a major Japanese developer. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case, and they’ll have to wait a little longer.

Square Enix posted the following Tokyo Game Show lineup on its website:

As you can see, sadly for fans, there is a conspicuous lack of Kingdom Hearts 4 there.

There’s every possibility that Square Enix is being a little coy about the situation, and the game may appear, but it seems more and more unlikely with each passing day.

Tokyo Game Show takes place on September 28 and 29 this year, and while Kingdom Hearts probably won’t be there, there are still a bunch of fantastic titles set to appear.Capcomwill be there withMonster Hunter Wilds, and the likes ofBandai Namco,Koei Tecmo,Konami,Sega, andPlayStationwill all have a presence on the show floor, with PlayStation hosting anAstro BotGacha machineavailable for anybody who checks out the game.

TheGamer will have two people on the ground at the event in Tokyo, so keep your eyes peeled for our exclusive previews and interviews.
