Summary
Kingdom Heartsfans can be pretty passionate about the series. Just ask one of them which order you should play the games and if it’s okay to skip an obscure mobile spinoff and you’ll find out just how passionate they can be. Those passionate fans need a little bit of good news right about now as with the summer of showcases drawing to a close, there’s still no news on whenKingdom Hearts 4will be here. It’s not quite as good as a trailer for the next game, but letting them know the Kingdom Hearts light-up Keyblade is back in stock might keep them going a little longer.
The Keyblade was released almost exactly one year agoand sold out almost instantly. It wasn’t clear whether it would be restocked at the time but here we are a year later, and Kingdom Hearts fans have a second chance to add the item to their collection. The Keyblade is based on Sora’s OG design, a gold handle with a silver blade, and while it looks identical to the Keyblade in the games, it isn’t life-size. 14 inches long, so still pretty big, but less than half the size of the one Sora wields.
That’s okay though as 14 inches instead of 34 keeps the price down. The light-up Keyblade is $59.99 and, as the item’s name will have already given away, it does more than just look pretty. Pop a couple of batteries into your new Keyblade and you’re able to use it to light the way. The Keyblade emits a keyhole-shaped light from its tip when switched on, lighting the way on all of your Kingdom Hearts-themed adventures. Or just to guide you to the fuse box whenever the power goes out, just verify you keep it handy.
Now You Can Bring The Realm Of Light With You Anywhere You Go
The Keyblade sold out almost immediately when it was first listed, and there appear to have been restocks since where the same thing happened. I say appear as the Keyblade has been back in stock for such brief periods that it’s almost impossible to tell how long it was available for before it disappeared again. This is the longest the Keyblade has remained in stock, and while it has returned sporadically during the 12 months since its reveal, one of these times will be the last, and this could be it.
Kingdom Hearts Light-Up Keyblade
An officially licensed replica of Sora’s iconic Keyblade from the Kingdom Hearts series. 14 inches long and lights up when you insert two triple-A batteries.
With one showcase still to go, Tokyo Game Show, there was a faint glimmer of hope that news on Kingdom Hearts 4 might still make an appearance before the summer of showcases is officially over. However,Square Enixhas confirmed what it will be showing at TGS, and Kingdom Hearts isn’t there. There is hope for its upcoming mobile game, Missing-Link.A dev page for the gamewas found online this week, leading some to believe an update or reveal of some sort is in the works.
