Legohas been around for almost a century, establishing itself as one of, if not the most famous toy in the world during that time. It has also released tens of thousands of Lego sets over its decades-long run, more than we could ever list in a single article. With the Lego elves working harder than ever, what we can do is keep track of all of the latest Lego sets and help keep you up to date on some of the newest sets released and which ones are coming soon.
Below is a list of every Lego set that has either already been released or will be released this month, complete with how much they cost, how many pieces they include, and links to the Lego store so you may buy them. October is one of Lego’s busiest for new sets as it releases everything ready for the holiday season. That includesthe Fortnite sets it revealed months ago,its Super Mario World set, and more, all of which can be found below.

Lego Fortnitewas rolled out at the end of 2023 and while there weren’t any at the time, you knew from that point it was only a matter of time untilFortnitegot its own Lego sets. The live service game’s first setswere revealed over the summer, and now they’re finally available to buy. Four things from Fortnite’s world have been turned into Lego sets for the October 1 rollout - the Battle Bus, Durrr Burger, Supply Llama, and Peely with half of his skin missing (don’t worry, that’s not as horrible as it sounds). Fortnite’s debut Lego sets range from $14.99 to $99.99, and I’d put a lot of money on there being more in the future.

Nintendoand Lego have been working together on Super Mario Lego sets since 2020. This one is a little different from most of the Mario sets that have come before it, though. Rather than an expansion for your growing Lego Mushroom Kingdom that the characters can interact with, this Mario & Yoshi is a standalone setthat’s more of a display piece than a plaything. A Lego recreation of Mario riding Yoshi in the iconic SNES gameSuper Mario World. The completed set has even been made to look like it’s in 16-bit, and when you turn the handle Yoshi’s feet move and his tongue sticks out.

Not long after Mario started getting his own Lego sets,Sonicjoined in on the fun. Since 2024 is the Year Of Shadow, quite a lot of Lego’s Sonic focus this year has been on the brooding black and red adversary of the Blue Blur. Joining the growing collection of Lego Shadow products in October isa bust of the hedgehog. Similar to the Mario & Yoshi set, the bust is more of a display piece. A Lego version of Shadow’s head on a plinth. Maybe have it watching over you, judging, while you playSonic x Shadow Generationswhen it hits all platforms on July 25, 2025.

Minecrafthas been in the Lego game for longer than Sonic and Mario. Makes a lot of sense since playing Minecraft is kind of like the video game version of building a Lego set. Lots of elements from Minecraft’s almost endless world have been turned into Lego, and now it’s the turn of Baby Pig. Minecraft’s Baby Pig is having a birthday party, and others from the game have been invited. The smaller, cheaper set includes Lego recreations of fox, cat, llama, and even a baby zombie.

DChas been celebrating 85 years sinceBatman’s comic book debut throughout 2024, but the sole Lego set The Dark Knight is getting this month might be the best way it has marked Batman’s birthday so far. The Batmobile is iconic enough that it has been turned into Lego multiple times already.None of them look quite like this Batmobile, though. This particular set is based on the vehicle’s look from the Batman TV show that aired in the 1960s. Almost 2,000 pieces with a Bat-Computer in the trunk and a 1960s-style Batman anniversary Minifigure included.

While Lego has been celebrating Batman’s 85th birthday, it has been paying a lot more attention toStar Wars. That’s because the anniversary it has with Star Wars is a shared one as it has been 25 years since the release of the first Star Wars Lego set. 2024 has been loaded with Star Wars Lego sets already, and not only does October bring two more, but one of them is one of the biggest and most expensive to date.Jabba’s Sail Barge will be available from October 6- October 3 for Lego Insiders - and is made up of almost 4,000 pieces. There’s also an anniversary Jabba the Hutt among its many Minifigures.

Disneyand Lego have been working together for so long that when it comes to choosing your first or your next Disney Lego set, deciding which movie to go with can be tough. This new Magic Of Disney set is perfect for the indecisive among you, a category that I am very much a part of. The set has miniature scenes from multiple movies includingThe Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Encanto, and more, all with Minifigures so that you can have a little piece of multiple Disney properties. Plus there’s a big old Lego Mickey in the middle watching over them all.

Wicked will hit cinemas in the US on November 22 at which point the world will have the chance to see Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande become Glinda and Elphaba and embark on part one of a two-part adventure set before the events of The Wizard Of Oz. Even though the movie won’t be here until November, four Wicked Lego sets are here now. You can build Lego versions of Glinda and Elphaba or pick up one of the other three Wicked sets, each of which includes Minifigure versions of the lead characters.

Toys and merchandise can often be indicative of a movie or TV show getting delayed, and these Wednesday sets feel a little bit like that. Season two ofNetflix’s Addams Family spinoff won’t be here until 2025 which makes the arrival of these Lego sets feel a little out of place. Whether they were originally supposed to coincide with the arrival of season two or not, these Wednesday sets are great for fans of the show or the Addams Family as a whole. Plus it’s not as if they’re going anywhere. If you’d rather wait, they’ll still be here when Wednesday season two does finally arrive next year.

As noted above, the main reason there are so many new Lego sets this month is because Lego wants those new sets out there in front of people who are shopping for the holidays. That doesn’t just mean new sets featuring the likes of Mario and Batman, but also some Christmas-themed sets. There’s Santa’s Post Office and the big guy’s Delivery Truck for anyone who wants to recreate what it looks like at the North Pole as we hurtle towards December 25, and there’s also a rather complex but beautiful Lego Wreath if you want a unique centerpiece this Christmas.

Lego’s holiday Wreath set isn’t the only toy brick greenery you can add to your home this month. Lego has also added a Poinsettia set to its Icons collection. A Poinsettia is a type of flower, apparently, and the benefit of building one out of Lego is you don’t need to water and take care of it to keep it alive, just make sure no one knocks it off the side. If you’d prefer something a little more classy to adorn your home, there’s also a Lego Mona Lisa set available now. $100, but a lot cheaper than flying to Paris to see the real thing.

Lego can be an expensive hobby, but if you spend enough on sets, there’s almost always a freebie waiting for you. You might be concerned about the lack of Halloween-themed sets above considering the spookiest month of the season has begun. Never fear, as anyone who spends $120 or more on sets will get a free Halloween Pumpkin set. Only available until October 14, but you’ll want to cash in on it by then to get it in time for October 31 anyway.
You’ve got even less time to grab Lego’s Brite Bomber Brickheadz set. A secret fifth Fortnite Lego set that’s only available to those spending $90 or more on Lego, and only if you do it during the first three days of October. I’m unsure if this set will be available to buy separately after that or if it will disappear forever.
