Summary

Logan Paul, MrBeast, and KSI recently launched a new Lunchables competitor called Lunchly, bundled with their Prime drinks and Feastable snacks. But the trio’s new product has proven incredibly controversial in its first few weeksdue to reports of mold, with doctors and dietitians also saying that it’s not nearly as healthy as it claims to be.

Amidst this backlash, Logan Paul revealed that someone even called a bomb threat into Lunchly HQ. As reported byDexerto, the caller hasn’t been pubicly identified yet, but Paul said that the FBI already found him, revealing that “He’s based in London, which is crazy, because we don’t even distribute there.”

Logan Paul Responds To Lunchly Mold Controversy And Supposed FDA Recall

In the above video, Paul addresses the numerous controversies surrounding Lunchly’s launch, from the bomb threat to claims of mold and even product recalls.

For context, a photo was recently shared on Twitter of an FDA recall notice placed in a Fred Meyer grocery store saying that Lunchly had been taken off the shelves due to a public health risk. Logan Paul looked into the claim and found no public recall listing, and even claims to have found the employee who printed the fake notice.

“That was like kind of rumorised, I guess,” the employee allegedly said when confronted. “I was the one who had written that. But since we got Lunchly back, it’s been taken down. When it comes down to the actual like, I guess accountability of it, it was a rumour that was up in the air. Since we had heard that the FDA whole thing was kaput, we took it down.”

As for the various photos and videos of mold found in Lunchly products, Paul blames it not on faulty adhesive or lack of preservatives as some have speculated, but the seals possibly breaking in transit or due to rough handling in stores.

“The USDA inspects every finished food lot and approves it before even leaving our facility,” Paul said. “Just like any produce you buy, problems can arise and our retail partners are great - they’ll offer a full refund.”

The claims of mold in the Lunchly Pizza range specifically went viral after YouTuber and author Rosanna Pansino made a video comparing the product to Lunchables, only to discover moldy cheese. Paul in response called her an “attention-hngry clout goblin”, not commenting on the concerns about children potentially eating mold without realising, but instead claiming that Pansino is essentially a MrBeast ‘hater’.
