Summary

We knew that, provided everything went to plan,Monster Hunter Wildswould be launching in early 2025. What we didn’t have until this week’s State Of Play was an exact release date.Capcomhas now confirmedWilds will launch on Jul 24, 2025, has opened pre-orders for the highly-anticipated game, and revealed hardcore fans willing to part with more than $1,300 can get their hands on a Monster Hunter bike.

Monster Hunter Wilds' Ultimate Collector’s Edition has been listed in Japan (thanks,VGC) and costs 192,390 yen ($1,335). Even for a collector’s edition, which tend to be significantly more expensive than deluxe and premium editions usually because they include a statue, $1300 is a lot of money. What drives up the price of this particular collector’s edition is the bicycle you get with it.

everything included in the monster hunter wilds ultimate collectors edition

The Monster Hunter-themed bike is green, black, and gold, and while it’s the reason the Ultimate Collector’s Edition is so expensive, it’s not the only item that’s exclusive to that particular edition of Monster Hunter Wilds. For almost 200,000 yen, Monster Hunter fans will also get a Steelbook, a weapon pouch that looks like one from the game, and a Seikret plush.Capcom has been releasing new Monster Hunter plushes throughout 2024and they’ve been incredibly popular, so the Seikret might be an even bigger reason to drop $1,300 on this game than the bike for some people.

Everything You Get With The Monster Hunter Wilds Ultimate Collector’s Edition

It Is A Real Nice-Looking Bike

The Ultimate Collector’s Edition also comes with aPS5copy of Monster Hunter Wilds. You might have read that sentence and said “well, duh”, but hold on a second. Collector’s editions for games actually including a copy of the game isn’t a surefire thing anymore.Life Is Strange: Double Exposure’s collector’s editioncame under fire earlier this year as it doesn’t include the game. The same applies to Civilization 7, andDragon Age: The Veilguard.

Capcom hasn’t confirmed whether the Ultimate Collector’s Edtion will be available outside of Japan yet, but regular pre-orders for Monster Hunter Wilds are now open and available in the US. For now, there are just the standard, deluxe, and premium deluxe options to choose from. If you want to hold out for the Ultimate Collector’s Edition finding its way out of Japan, or getting a Monster Hunter bike shipped halfway around the world, be my guest. The shipping will add quite a bit more to that already lofty price tag, though.
