While I’m sure those of you who plan on playing Monster Hunter Wilds onXboxorPCare seething right about now, don’t worry, you’ll get a chance to be a part of next week’s beta too. You will just have to wait a little longer, and thus have a little less time with the game, than those with a PS Plus subscription. The open beta will be rolled out to other platforms at 11pm EST on October 31 and run until 6:59pm EST on November 3. That second part of the test will be available to PlayStation and Xbox players whether you have Plus andGame Passor not.

Once the beta is opened up to all three platforms on which Wilds will launch, it will support crossplay which means PlayStation, Xbox, and PC players will be able to monster hunt together. Capcom explained that the test will focus on three areas of the game - character creation, a story trial, and a Doshaguma Hunt which the studio has been using to show off exactly what players will experience in Wilds during prior gameplay reveals.
The reveal that Wilds will be getting a week-long open beta was accompanied by a new trailer for the game which you can check out above. The hype train for the next installment in the Monster Hunter series is really picking up steam with four months still to go. Wilds will be released onPS5,Xbox Series X|S, and PC on Jul 19, 2025.
