Who Are War Child And Children In Conflict?

Children in Conflict is a member of the War Child Alliance which works to protect children in war zones, ensuring that they are kept safe with adequate mental health care and education.

This year alone, it has supported over 161,000 people in Occupied Palestinian Territories, “addressing the immediate needs of Palestinian children and supporting their long-term well-being”. In Ukraine, Children in Conflict has supported over 85,000 children and adults with psychological first aid, art therapy, and counseling. And in the Central African Republic, it reached over 22,000 children last year.

It runs programs like this across the world in 14 different countries, from Colombia to Lebanon and Afghanistan. In all of these locations, it offers safe spaces for children to socialise, learn, and play, uses unrestricted cash tranfers to cover basic needs, and provides communities with the tools to advocate “on a global scale […] for a world where no child is a part of war”.
