A couple of weeks ago,Nintendoput a call out for fans to test a new feature or game coming to theNintendo Switch Onlineservices. Of course, with the Japanese company being so secretive, and so litigious, itrequired participants to sign a non-disclosure agreementstopping them from talking about whatever they may be testing. Obviously, that didn’t stop some players, withearly impressions leaking shortly after the playtest went live.

But, while it takes a brave soul to leak something Nintendo has NDA’d, it takes a braver one to stream it.

YouTuber Reportedly Streams Themselves Playing Nintendo Switch Online Playtest Game

In avideothat has now, of course, been removed, a streamer was reportedly seen playing the new secretNintendo SwitchOnline game. It was a bold, brave, and frankly incredibly stupid move.

One viewer of the stream called it “barebones” but said, “Vibes are real nice, though. A mixture of Nobi Nobi Boy,Death Stranding, The Tail of the Sun, and Pushmo.” Another said, “The concept of building up is basic but the streamer got to a big shop/level-up section which seems to have a lot of stuff in it.”

Early reports suggested the game would be some kind of social sim that requires extensive collaboration between players, something this stream seemingly confirms.

Given a plot on a planet, players are charged with development. After heading to the central hub to purchase items, they’ll need to gather resources and build up their area, with other players doing the same. It appears the end goal of the game is to develop a whole planet.

With Nintendo on the warpath at the moment, taking down any content that surfaces of the playtest, plusits major lawsuit against Palworld developers Pocketpair, I can’t imagine things will end well for this streamer.
