Summary
The final chapter of aPersona 3 Reloadjourney that started in February begins this week as Episode Aigis, the third part of the remake’s three-part DLC, unlocks on September 10. Persona 3 Reload’s expansion pass has been available since March - costing $34.99 - since that was when the first part was released. Not only can you still get it now and benefit from all three parts of the DLC in one go from September 10, but if you haveGame Pass, you can get it at no additional cost.
If you haven’t downloaded the DLC yet and you’ve got Game Pass, it’s not too late. In fact, you’re just in time if you’re only interested in DLC that adds story content to the remake. Episode Aigis is a remake of the epilogue that was added to the original game and dubbed Persona 3 FES, something fans were disappointed to learn wasn’t a part of Persona 3 Reload at launch. The content from Persona 3 Portable still hasn’t been announced for the game, and likely never will be, but getting FES’s epilogue via Episode Aigis is better than nothing.
And It’ll Never Disappear, Even If You Don’t Have Game Pass Anymore
Persona 3 Reload’s expansion pass is a little different from most other stuff you use Game Pass for. Games on Game Pass are only yours to play at no additional cost until they leave the service or until your subscription lapses. This DLC, on the other hand, is yours to keep, even if you don’t have Game Pass anymore. Now, if you have been using Game Pass to play Persona 3 Reload, then the DLC, even though you own it, will become obsolete if the base game leaves the service or you no longer have Game Pass. However, if you own your copy of Persona 3 Reload, you can continue playing the DLC you claimed for free even after it has left or you’ve stopped paying for your subscription.
Persona 3 Reload Expansion Pass
Persona 3 Reload’s Expansion Pass is split into three waves. The first adds music from other Persona games, the second adds cosmetics items and more music, and the third adds the original game’s Episode Aigis epilogue.
