Tracking the RRP of the DualSense throughout its first four years has been a little tricky as different colors and versions tied to certain games have cost more, sometimes considerably more, than $69.99.
TheAstro Botcontroller, which once again appears to be sold out everywhereafter a restock for the game’s release, is $79.99. However, the plain white DualSense, as well as a few other basic colors, have been $69.99 as standard. That’s not the case anymore, and unless you can find them on sale, or buy them second hand, the cheapest you’ll find a DualSense day-to-day when shopping from a major retailers will be $69.99.

The DualSense price increase comes two weeks afterthe cost of a PS5 was upped by $90 in Japan.
Amazon and GameStop haven’t increased the price of the DualSense at the time of typing this, so if you’re in the market for a new PS5 controller, buy it through them before they follow suit.
