While there are many varieties of Pokemon plush available, Sitting Cuties are the only branch of the Pokemon plush tree that guarantees every single Pokemon has been accounted for, and 100 more plushes just joined the collection.
Well, technically they were already a part of the collection.Pokemon revealed its Kalos region Sitting Cutiesearlier this year when it released them in Japan.Now they’re available in the US via the Pokemon Center, and even though Pokemon’s sixth-gen is its smallest with just 72 new Pokemon added when it introduced us to Kalos, there are more than 100 new Sitting Cuties to collect as when I tell you every Pokemon gets a Sitting Cutie, I mean every Pokemon gets a Sitting Cutie.
That includes different variations of the same Pokemon which means Vivillon fans are eating better than anyone right now. There are 18 different types of Vivillon native to the Kalos region, and each of them has its own Sitting Cutie. I say Vivillon fans are eating well, at $16.99 per plush, if you want to own every single Vivillon in the collection, it’s going to cost you more than $300. I’d say try to space them out if you want them all, but Sitting Cutie stock tends to be wild and unpredictable. Maybe pick a couple of your favorites and hope for the best.
Welcome The Kalos Region To The Sitting Cuties Collection
Look At All Those Vivillon
Today’s rollout isn’t just about Vivillon, of course. There are more than 90 other Kalos Cuties to choose from including Goomy, Hawlucha, Pancham, and Dedenne. Even Klefki, the Pokemon equivalent of a sentient set of keys, now has its own plush. All Sitting Cuties are $16.99 each and tend to be between five and eight inches tall. They’re called Sitting Cuties because they are weighted by beads that keep them in a sitting position. That also makes them easy to display, so perfect for collectors.
Goomy Sitting Cuties Plush
Sitting Cuties are a plush collection that The Pokemon Company has been rolling out region by region. Goomy is a part of the Kalos region so once Gen 6 got its Sitting Cuties, Goomy was among them, five and a quarter inches tall and weighted down by beads.
Vivillon (Fancy Pattern) Sitting Cuties Plush
Pokemon has arrived in the Kalos region for its Sitting Cuties rollout, and not only does that mean Vivillon is finally joining the collection, but all 18 types of Vivillon are getting their own plush. This particular plush is the Fancy Pattern Vivillon and, like the other 17, its six and half inches tall.
Hawlucha Sitting Cuties Plush
The Pokemon Company has been adding plushes to its Sitting Cuties collection one generation at a time. Now that the Kalos region has been accounted for, Hawlucha finally has its own Sitting Cutie. Five and a half inches tall and weighed down with beads like every other Sitting Cutie.
Pokemon is really going all in on plushes right now, not just via Sitting Cuties, but across the board.It restocked its Comfy Friends collectionat the end of August, adding six new designs to the range in the process. There’s alsoa Pikachu plush deck boxfor anyone looking for a very different, much more furry storage option for their trading cards.
