Summary
Pokemondoesn’t tend to let a major holiday pass by without recognizing it in some way, whether that be putting a Santa hat on Pikachu inPokemon Goor giving Pawmi an Easter egg to hold. Outside of Christmas, Halloween might be the holiday Pokemon gives the most attention, and there are some very specialplush restocks at the Pokemon Centerto celebrate this year’s spooky season.
The headliner at the Pokemon Center this Halloween is Mimikyu. One of Pokemon’s creepier creations, provided you’ve not seenone of the more recent reveals from the Game Freak leak, no one knows what Mimikyu looks like under its crude Pikachu disguise. Mimikyu is one of very few Pokemon to have been turned into a life size plush. A very popular life size plush that sold out fast the first time around, but it has been restocked for Halloween.
Even though this particular Mimikyu plush is colloquially referred to as life size by fans, that’s not the term Pokemon uses officially, and there’s a reason for that. Standing at 22.5 inches tall, the plush is quite a bit taller than Mimikyu appears in the games and the anime. More than twice the size as Mimikyu is canonically just eight inches tall. This massive Mimikyu plush is more a monument to the Pokemon than it is a replica, and you can pick one up from the Pokemon Center this Halloween for $49.99.
Pokemon’s Big Mimikyu And Gigantamax Plushes Are Back For Halloween
Pokemon Center Used Restock On My Bank Account, It Was Super Effective
The other big Halloween return at the Pokemon Center is its Gigantamax Gengar plush which, despite their relative sizes in the games, is significantly smaller than the Mimikyu plush. Pokemon’s Gigantamax Gengar plush is 14.5 inches tall and, as is the case with the real Gigantamax version of the Ghost-type, has a big gaping mouth that you could probably fit your head depending inside how big your head is. Even though the Gengar plush is smaller than Mimikyu, it’s slightly more expensive at $59.99, likely due to the additional detail.
Mimikyu Poke Plush
Pokemon fans describe this 22.5-inch Mimikyu plush as life size, but in reality, it’s even bigger and better than that. The Pokemon Center’s Mimikyu plush is two and a half times the size of the Pokemon in the games.
Gigantamax Gengar Poke Plush
Pokemon introduced Gigantamaxing to its world via Sword & Shield, and one of the more unique Gigantamax designs that came with it was Gengar’s. Already popular when in its regular form, turning the Ghost-type into a unique plush was a no-brainer.
Pokemon hasn’t just restocked older Halloween favorites to tide plush collectors over this year.It released its Pokeween 2024 rangea little while ago which includes new Pikachu and Fuecoco plushes in regular and keychain form that are all still in stock. There’s no way to know how much longer Pokemon’s Halloween plushes will remain in stock post-October 31 or if the designs will ever be restocked, so if anything mentioned here appeals to you, you might want to grab it before it’s potentially too late.
