Summary
There are a lot ofPokemonplushes out there to choose from in various sizes, prices, and rarities. However, that aren’t many rarer than the jet black toys Pokemon created with FRGMT a few years ago. A part of something dubbed the Inn Thunderbolt Project, the plushes were only available to those who were gifted one for staying in the hotel’s Pokemon-themed rooms, or visitors who bought them. New images of the collection have recently been shared online, sparking hopes for a re-release and perhaps even wider availability.
PokemonRestocksshared images of the collection which began with Snorlax and also includes Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charmander. Other than parts of their eyes, and lighting bolts on their bodies, the FRGMT plushes are black all over. The Inn Thunderbolt Project is situated in South Korea and only those who have attended one of its events have ever been afforded the opportunity to own plushes from this collection.
You canbuy the Pikachu plush through resale sites, but it’s going to cost you, likely close to $300. The Pikachu plush is currently listed for that much, and its listing notes that the last one sold for even more. Those prices will drop if the collection is about to get a wider release, but probably not by much. FRGMT is a very high-end fashion brand so if the plushes are sold elsewhere, even though they’ll no longer be as exclusive as they used to be, Pokemon’s previous FRGMT collaboration hints at what you’ll be expected to pay.

If These Ever Get A Worldwide Release, Someone Needs To Hide My Credit Card
A collection created by Pokemon, Fendi, and FRGMTand released to kick off 2024, the year of the dragon, starred Dragonite and its pre-evolved forms and included some very expensive items. A Dragonite totem, which was my favorite item in the collection, was one of the cheaper options, priced at $2,290. If you wanted to push the boat out, there was a beaded Dragon-type bag at the more expensive end of the collection for $9,400.
While you’re waiting for news on whether FRGMT’s unique black plushes will be getting a wider release, there has been a lot of other Pokemon plush news lately, all of which is far more affordable than the FRGMT collection will be should it start popping up elsewhere.
