Pokemon has kicked off its pet accessory range with two new items, both of which are now available at Amazon. Both have clearly been created with dogs in mind, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get creative if you’re the kind of person who walks your cat.
Pokemon’s retractable pet leash extends up to 16 inches and has a Poke Ball on the grip. You can control how much leash you let out for your pet while you are walking with it thanks to a breaking button that can lock in the leash at whatever length you want, just like most other extendable leashes. The leash itself has a repeating Poke Ball pattern on it, all of them reflective so you’re safer while using it in the dark.
The leash connects to your pet’s collar or harness with a metal clip, so they are not going anywhere without you, just in case your pet needs a little more training before you can take them with you on your next Pokemon adventure. That said, the weight limit for the leash is 55 pounds, so if your pup is bigger than that, the Pokemon leash might not be for you.
