Summary
If you think there are a lot ofPokemonto keep track of, then wait until you get a load of how many plushes there are. Even though not every Pokemon has its own plush, some of the more popular Pocket Monsters like Pikachu have quite a few. The push to make Sprigatito the next Pikachu continues as the Grass-type cat from Paldea already has a few plushes of its own, the biggest of which is now available at Target.
Head to the Pokemon Center and you’ll findSprigatito already has nine plushes. Pretty impressive for a Pokemon that’s only two years old, and quite a few of its plushes are sold out so Pokemon appears to be backing the right horse - sorry, cat. The new Sprigatito plush at Target is the Pokemon’s biggest one yet. Standing at 24 inches tall, the Target-exclusive plush is almost five inches bigger than the biggest Spriagatito plush currently available at the Pokemon Center.
While some of Pokemon’s bigger and more expensive plushes are dubbed life-size by The Pokemon Company, Target’s Sprigatito goes one better. The Grass-type partner Pokemon is 16 inches tall inScarlet & Violetwhich means technically, this plush is bigger than the real in-game thing. Quite a bit bigger actually, and best of all, even though it beats out the biggest Pokemon Center Sprigatito by five inches, it’s the same price at $49.99.
Big Old Sprigatito And Piplup Plushes Are Now Available At Target
24 Inches Tall And Only $50 Each
It’s not the only massive Pokemon plush to arrive at Target this week either. Joining Sprigatito on Target’s virtual shelves (and perhaps its physical ones too, you’ll have to go check your nearest Target) is a big old Piplup. Also 24 inches tall and $49.99, this technically isn’t Piplup’s biggest plush. Pokemon previously sold a 31-inch version of its partner penguin, however, it costs seven times as much and is currently sold out.
Sprigiatito 24" Pokemon Plush
At 24 inches tall, this Target-exclusive Sprigatito plush is the biggest toy modeled after the Grass-type cat Pokemon to date. So big that it’s eight inches taller than the Pokemon is in the games.
Piplup 24" Pokemon Plush
One of the bigger Piplup plushes out there, this Target-exclusive soft toy is 24 inches tall, so quite a bit taller than Piplup appears in the games. It joins a jumbo Sprigatito plush that’s also available exclusively at Target.
Although it has been a quieter period than usual when it comes to new Pokemon plushes, there were some additions to its Comfy Cuddlers range last week. One of many branches of the Pokemon plush tree, Comfy Cuddlers are designed to make the Pokemon look like they’re resting on their tummies. Seven Pokemon were introduced to the collection last week including Meowth, Poliwag, and of course, Sprigatito.
