Summary

There are so many different types ofPokemonplush that even I, someone who spends a lot of their time at work writing about them, learn of a new type on what is starting to feel like a weekly basis. This week it’s Pokemon Dolls, perhaps the most adorable type of Pokemon plush on the market. Pokemon Dolls are smaller plushes designed to look like the doll versions of Pokemon you find in the games, and this week four more Pokemon will be making their Doll plush debuts.

Koraidon, Miraidon, Terapagos, and Ogerpon all now have their own Doll plushes, and all of them will be available to buy from Jun 07, 2025. There is a catch though, and while it’s a big one, it’s one Pokemon plush collectors will be all too familiar with. The quartet of new plushes will be exclusive to Japan’s Pokemon Center, to begin with, at least. This is commonplace for new Pokemon merch, and if it sells well enough, it is usually rolled out in the US and other regions at a later date.

Most of Pokemon’s Doll plushesare already available at the US Pokemon Center, including Paldean additions like Fuecoco and Quaxly, so odds are Miraidon and the other new Dolls will be available Stateside eventually. The common theme that connects the four new plushes, if you haven’t made the connection already, is that they are all legendary Pokemon introduced duringScarlet & Violet. Terapagos and Ogerpon are somewhat surprising plush additions as they weren’t introduced until the games' post-launch DLC which was released relatively recently.

Pokemon Dolls From The Games, But For Real

Prices for the new plushes haven’t been revealed, and even when they’re added to Japan’s Pokemon Center later this week, it won’t be clear how much they’ll cost if and when they come to the US. Pokemon Doll prices vary, but only slightly. Every plush from the collection available at the US Pokemon Center is either $11.99 or $14.99 depending on its size. If I were to hazard a guess, I’d think Koraidon and Miraidon will cost $14.99 each, and Terapagos and Ogerpon will be $11.99.

If you don’t believe me that there are a lot of branches to the Pokemon plush tree, let me run you through some of the new additions and updates to various types just recently.Pokemon’s entire Soda Pop plush rangeis now available in the US,Rockruff will join Pokemon’s sleeping plushesthis fall, andalmost all of the Comfy Friends plusheswere restocked recently, and that was all in the last six weeks.
