Summary

When it comes to crossovers and collaborations, almost nothing is off-limits for The Pokemon Company.Pokemon’s creatures, of which there are now more than 1,000, have been slapped on just about everything during their almost-year run, from doughnuts to expensive jewellery. That net was cast wide enough to include high-end cookware over the summer too, and as promised, Pokemon and La Creuset have teamed up for a second time to bring even more kitchen items to the range.

The first wave of products in the Pokemon x La Creuset rangewas revealed in June and included some rather expensive cast iron items, but also some cheaper, but still somewhat pricey kitchenware for Pokemon fans who didn’t necessarily want to spend hundreds of dollars for a yellow crockpot with Pikachu’s tail on it. Pictures of the items joining them in wave two have been revealed, although it’s not clear if everything has been shown off yet.

The second drop of Pokemon x La Creuset products will seemingly be pretty similar to the first with a mix of bigger more robust kitchenware and smaller items for those not looking to spend quite as much. The headliner isa second Pikachu crockpot similar to the yellow onereleased over the summer. The black pot appears to be identical in everything but the color scheme as this second pot is black rather than yellow.

The other two pots revealed for wave two are quite a bit different and appear to come as a pair. Both have a Poke Ball pattern printed around the base but come in different colors with different Pokemon silhouettes on their lids -Pikachu on the yellow pot, and Eevee on the brown one. Pikachu and Eevee are also the stars of a new set of bowls, the designs of which incorporate their ears, anda mug that has been designed to look like a Great Ballrounds out what has been revealed for wave two so far.

Pokemon’s La Creuset Cookware Range Is Expanding

The New Pots And Bowls Will Be Available In November

Even though there’s a chance there’s more to come, based on what was included in the first wave of Pokemon La Creuset products, this is probably everything. Pre-orders for all the items will go live in Japan on October 25, andthe range will be released on November 6, but there’s a catch. While the new La Creuset products won’t be limited to Japan, like wave one, they won’t be getting a worldwide release.

According to PokemonRestocks, the belief is wave two of the cookware range will belimited to certain Asian countries as well as South Africa, Australia, and New Zealandwhich was also the case with the first batch of products. As with anything limited to a certain part of the world, there will be ways to get it shipped. However, considering how much this stuff weighs, the already pricey products will be significantly more expensive with shipping costs thrown on top.
