Summary

Something really exciting happened this Saturday, and I don’t mean my dog finally learning how to sing opera. Pop-Mart just launched it’s newStar-Warslineup with all the fan-favourite characters from the Mandalorian. Want to know what the fun part is? There’s three different versions of Grogu (aka Baby Yoda) in it.

The fun thing about Pop-Mart is that they follow a blind-box system that works two ways. You can place your order through the website as usual and receive a random figure, ortake part in a draw where you select from a mystery box lineup (you can also opt for the in-person delivery version of this). Pretty cool, right?

What’s In The Box?

What’s In The Box?

No, that wasn’t a veiled referenceto that one jokethat died a horrible death over the last two decades. We’re here to talk about what’s actually inside the box. And the answer, my friend, is that no one knows. Not even the company that makes the boxes. There’s a 1:9 chance of you getting any given collectible from this photo we’ve put up.

Pop-Mart Star Wars Mandalorian Series Figures

I Like Those Odds

Pop-Mart’s Star Wars Mandalorian Series Figures offer blind-box collectibles featuring characters from the hit show. Each $16.99 box contains a surprise 3-inch figure, with 9 regular designs and 1 secret rare figure.

Now I know what you’re thinking. Aren’t there ten figures in the picture? And right you would be to spot that, young Padawan. The tenth figure, specifically the one withGrogu holding Anzellan, is a nice little limited edition that you only have a 1:108 chance of getting. It’s a rare, rare find, so consider yourself super lucky if you manage to get your hands on one of these. Make sure it’s mint, too. Never know how that resale value is going to shoot up.

If you’re someone who doesn’t want to leave things up to fate, though. There is something else for you. Pop-Mart also gives you the option of going forthe full-set, where you get all nine figures (no guarantee for the limited edition Grogu, though, that’s still a hit or miss). It’s slightly more expensive, retailing at $153. And on the off-chance that you do end up getting a repeat figure in the set, Pop-Mart says they will swap that and ship a new one out to you!

One thing I can say is that you should definitely head over to the site and check the boxes out. They’re selling like hot cakes, and I doubt if they’re going to be in stock for too long with Halloween right around the corner.

Adios, and happy shopping, friendos!
