Fusions are a fan-favorite aspect of the Dragon Ball series, bringing together the power of two characters into one. InDragon Ball: Sparking Zero, players can experience the thrill of controlling these incredibly powerful fighters without needing to do any complicated dances.

From the playful antics of Gotenks to the god-like might of Vegito, each fusion brings its own unique style and strength to the battlefield, either as unique moves or as raw strength. We are ranking the below fusions considering not only their individual power, but also how strong the characters that make them up are.

7Gotenks

Fun But Flawed

Gotenks, the fusion of Goten and Trunks, is known for his flashy attacks and childlike arrogance. In Sparking Zero, Gotenks offers a fast and fun playstyle, with moves like the Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack providing some entertainment, although his overall power level doesn’t match up to the stronger fusions in the game.

Worst of all, if you want to fuse during a match, you’ll have to be using either Gotenor Kid Trunks, meaning you’ll fall behind from the get-go. While it can make for a fun challenge, it isn’t the most viable fusion around.

6Fused Zamasu

Godly Power With A Downside

Fused Zamasu, the fusion of Goku Black and Zamasu, brings god-like power and immortality to the battlefield. His attacks are devastating, especially his powerful energy-based moves that reflect his divine status, not to mention his beautiful energy aura.

However, in Sparking Zero, Fused Zamasu suffers from slower movement and a more predictable moveset, making him easier to counter when up against faster or more agile fighters. While his raw power is undeniable, Fused Zamasu’s lack of speed and predictability places him lower on this list compared to the more versatile fusions, and his corrupted form, while novel, isn’t the powerful upgrade you might wish it to be.

5Kefla

The Newest Potara Fusion

Kefla, the fusion of Caulifla and Kale, brings a fierce combination of speed and strength to Sparking Zero. As the Potara fusion of two powerful Saiyan warriors, Kefla excels in aggressive, up-close combat, using her Saiyan instincts to overwhelm opponents with relentless energy blasts and fast-paced melee attacks.

Her moveset is diverse and quick, making her a solid pick for players who enjoy an offensive playstyle. She’s also available from the start of the game, unlike the Saiyans that combine to form her, so if you want to fuse mid-fight, you’ll haveto farm some Zeni first.

4Gogeta (Z)

With A Halo By Default

Gogeta’s first appearance in the Z era movie Fusion Reborn remains iconic. In Sparking Zero, this version of Gogeta is fast, agile, and hits hard with powerful energy attacks like the Soul Punisher, and the characters that form him are some of thebetter versions of Goku and Vegeta.

His combination of strength and speed makes him a well-rounded fighter. However, as the first version of Gogeta, he lacks the refinement and upgrades seen in his later incarnations. While still formidable, Z-era Gogeta doesn’t quite reach the power levels of his GT and Super versions, placing him in the middle of this list.

3Gogeta (GT)

The Ultimate Super Saiyan 4

In Dragon Ball GT, Gogeta reaches new heights as a Super Saiyan 4, and this transformation is just as strong in Sparking Zero. This version of Gogeta is incredibly powerful, combining the primal energy of Super Saiyan 4 with his already impressive speed and agility.

His attacks are both visually stunning and highly effective, making him a fan-favorite for players who want a balanced, high-powered fusion. It is just as powerful as the next two entries, but we’ve ranked it slightly lower due to the characters needed being somewhat expensive in DP modes, specifically Vegeta from the GT era (he is only available as a Super Saiyan 4).

2Gogeta (Super)

Refined and God-Tier Power

Gogeta from Dragon Ball Super is a true powerhouse in Sparking Zero. Combining the raw power of Gogeta with the divine energy of Super Saiyan Blue, this version of the character boasts incredible power, and also the stunning animations from the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie.

The division of power between the top spots is relative, and highly dependent on whose moveset you prefer. Gogeta offers a lot of power, and lets you fuse into him with the base forms of Goku and Vegeta, meaning that you’re able to fuse early and power up as you go.

1Vegito

The Ultimate Potara Fusion

Vegito takes the top spot mostly due to his uniqueness; as you’ve noticed, there are three individual Gogeta variants but only one Vegito, and both the Z and Super variants of the Saiyan duo can fuse into the same Vegito. The difference is how high in power they can go, and this attention to detail makes Vegito all the more special.

In case you haven’t tried it yourself, then let us clarify: when the Z era Saiyans fuse, Vegito has access to his base and Super Saiyan form, but when the Super era ones fuse, he has access to his base and Super Saiyan Blue form. If you want access to all three variants of Vegito, then you just need to pick him directly from the character selection screen.
