Knowing about the best Virtues to invest in will save you the hassle of gathering Memoria all over again, which is required for leveling up. You can choose to upgrade any of them based on your playstyle preference. However, some of them may be more useful than others, which is why this list will rank them all.
5Elementalist
The Elemenantalist is one of the trickiest Virtues that you might find a bit hard to utilize, especially if you are a beginner. That said, if you eventually have more command over it, you will have that much more fun with it. If you level it up, The Maskless One’s Elemental Power and Status power will be increased.
After increasing Elemental Power, you can deal more damage if your weapons are infused with them. However, using them can be very hard, as you need to recharge your Mask Lines to use elements with the relevant perks.
The Mask Lines charge very slowly, and you might have to beat a couple of enemies before you can utilize it, which also makes Elementalist Virtue harder to utilize.
Your increased Status Power will allow you to inflict enemies with status effects quickly. While the status effects leave enemies at a disadvantage, you also need to be wary of the buffs they receive while they are affected.
4Trickster
The Trickster Virtue contributes to your Stamina, which means you will be able to perform more combat actions in the game. If you tend to run out of it quickly, you will have that much of a hard time taking down various bosses. Without much Stamina, you would be like a sitting duck waiting to be killed.
Leveling up the Trickster Virtue may be beneficial, especially if you are having a hard time managing your Stamina. This might be more helpful as a beginner if you are trying to get used to the combat in the game.
Watching out for both your Stamina and The bosses' attacks can be very overwhelming, and will make the boss fight that much difficult, so leveling up Virtue is recommended for more stamina.
The Trickster Virtue also increases your Pouch Size, which will let you hold more items in your Inventory. This can be beneficial if you tend to take help from a few tools that might give you an advantage during fights.
3Battlemage
The Battlemage Virtue contributes to your Ardour Skills such as using Mask Lines and charging them up. Casting Lines can inflict massive damage to bosses, once you successfully hit them with it. It’s always a good idea to equip a few lines on your Loadouts.
Mask Lines can be a pain to charge and cast, and you might have to beat a lot of enemies till they are ready. The Battlemage Virtue will let you charge them up quickly and more efficiently.
Your Ardore Power will also increase, which means that you will be able to inflict more damage by using Mask Lines. You will be able to finish boss battles quickly without spending too much time in the Arena trying to parry and dodge their attacks.
2Assassin
The Assassin Virtue is definitely not to be underestimated as it will contribute the most to increasing your sheer strength. It will increase your Attack Power, which makes your weapon attacks much more powerful. So, investing in leveling up Assasin is worth it, if you want to deal more damage.
The bosses in Enotria: The Last Song are quite tough, and you are better off taking them down as fast as you’re able to with your strong attacks. The more you delay the fight the harder it will get to beat them, and you will most likely end up losing the battle.
The Assassin Virtue also increases your Luck, which means you will have a higher chance of getting drops after beating enemies. You can obtain a lot of good weapons by taking on various opponents that come across your way.
1Bruiser
Bruiser is the best Virtue in Enotria: The Last Song, so it goes without saying that you should invest in it the most. Leveling up the Bruiser Virtue will increase your maximum health and defense. It will make you much more formidable in combat, and you will be less squishy while you are facing tough opponents.
The bosses, in particular, are very powerful and crush you in seconds, if you attempt to face them while you are defenseless, so leveling up the Bruiser will let you stand up to them, and you will be taking way less damage even if you fail to dodge and parry.
While the Bruiser Virtue increases your health, it won’t do much if you keep failing at parrying and dodging. So, practicing them is important.
The Bruiser will also make you more resistant to various status effects. Afflicted by them can give you some disadvantages in a fight, so leveling up this Virtue will save you from them preventing any additional inconveniences during challenging combat.
