Using ReShade, it implements temporal anti-aliasing, global illumination, bloom, volumetric lighting, specular highlights, anRDR2style sky, reflections, depth of field, motion blur, and an optional cinematic letterbox. You can see all of these tweaks in action in the above image.

Here Are Some Other Mods That You Can Use To Remaster RDR

If you want to take things even further, there’s also a mod whichunlocks the 60fps cap, allowing you to play beyond 65fps. It works a treat on a powerful enough PC, but using it on the Steam Deck is ill-advised.

With a higher framerate and some fancy post-processing effects, the next step is naturally higher-resolution textures. Already, there’s a mod thatimplements more detailed particle effects. Given that it launched the same day as the PC port, it “was made in a hurry”, but developer FiKq says that it “works perfectly fine”.

If you want to take the UI up a level, you can bring overthe improved RDR2 button prompts.

All of this comes just one day after the game launched on Steam, which is incredibly impressive. It’ll be even more exciting to see what the community cooks up with a bit more time, but for now, these are some great mods to reinvigorate this modern classic.
