Secret Levelis an upcoming anthology series based on various video game franchises that was first announced at this year’s Gamescom. The show is produced by Tim Miller’s Blur Studio (Love, Death & Robots) for Prime Video.
A new leaked trailer for Secret Level is now doing the rounds online. The leak reportedly originated from a chat on the messaging app Telegram (thanks,MP1st). As you’d expect, the trailer features various shots from each of the featured series with an accompanying voiceover. Near the end of the trailer, a list of the main cast appears, which is as follows:
Secret Level’s Main Cast Has Been Leaked
For those unfamiliar, Patrick Schwarzenegger is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son and Heaven Hart is Kevin Hart’s daughter. The familial theme here is interesting, but we don’t know which characters these parent-child duos are playing yet. This is also confirmation that Keanu Reeves will feature in the Armored Core episode, as was heavily speculated following the release of theinitial trailerwhere a character heavily resembling Reeves appeared.
As for the rest of the cast, Luna is best known for playing Ghost Rider in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D; Greenblatt for Barbie and the unfortunate Borderlands movie; Akinnuoye-Agbaje has played supporting roles in many products, including a stint as Killer Croc in Suicide Squad; a similar story with Beach who has had a long career, most recently appearing in Shelby Oaks; Swallow played Emily in the Last of Us Part 2 and The Armorer in The Mandalorian; Domit is known for playing Victoria Neuman in The Boys.
Each of the episodes of Secret Level is set in a different game world, except for one which appears to be themed around PlayStation as a whole. The games are Armored Core, Concord, Crossfire, Dungeons & Dragons, Exodus, Honor of Kings, Mega Man, New World: Aeternum, Pac-Man, PlayStation, Sifu, Spelunky, The Outer Worlds, Unreal Tournament and Warhammer 40,000.
There’s a wide mix of genres represented in Secret Level, ranging from below-ground roguelikes all the way up to space-faring RPGs. Amazon and Blur also seem to want to give the series worldwide appeal, as certain games like Crossfire (Korea) and Honor of Kings (China) are far more popular in their respective markets than they are in the West.
Secret Level is set to premiere on July 18, 2025.
