It’s time to expose Lucas Colmenero for the plagiarizing fraud he is! As Krampus on Campus begins inLife is Strange: Double Exposure, Safi has prepared a slideshow that lays out the case against Lucas. He did steal from Maya Okada, and he was, at least partially, responsible for her death.
But, convincing the crowd at the Snapping Turtle isn’t just about laying out the evidence. Lucas has made it this far, and he’s not about to let the success of the future Wilder Beasts Than These movie get taken away from him without a fight, and he manages to talk Vinh into giving up. Safi wants to make a compelling closing argument and Max has to help Safi decide:can she make that case better as herself, or as Vinh?
What Happens If You Confront Lucas As Vinh?
If you tell Safi toconfront Lucas as Vinh, she agrees, goes back on stage, and confidently taunts Lucas. This line of attack is successful, with Safi capturing Vinh’s MC charisma. Lucasangrily lets slip that he did, indeed, plagiarize Maya’s work— though he offers the weak excuse that they were planning to publish together.
What Happens If You Confront Lucas As Safi?
If you convince Safi togo up as herself, she’s nervous, saying, “Honesty is not my strong suit.” She does it anyway, accusing Lucas of killing Maya. Appearing as herself instead of as Vinh opens her up to new vulnerabilities. Lucas asks, if what he did was so wrong, why hadn’t Safi would spoken up at the time?
Safi stays strong, and turns the crowd against him. Lucas offersa slightly different excusein this version of the scene, blaming his divorce and his responsibility to his son. But, he’s booed off stage all the same and Safi gets to know that she was capable of exposing Lucas without her powers, just as herself.
Either way, while Safi is celebrating her victory with Max, Lucas approaches her and asks to have a private conversation. Uh oh.
