Summary

Transformers One, which has been performing better than expected with reviewers, hits theaters this weekend, and the first people in line to see it will receive a very special gift for doing so. Paramount will be handing outSonic the Hedgehog 3posters to the first 300 people who go and see Transformers One this Friday at select cinemas, and some of those posters will be even more special than the rest.

Despite adults who grew up during a particular era likely loving both,SonicandTransformersaren’t two worlds you’d have likely imagined ever colliding. That changes this weekend due to Transformers One and the Sonic the Hedgehog movies residing under the same studio, Paramount. While Paramount’s focus will be on its new Transformers movie as it hits theaters this weekend, its release will include a nod to the Blue Blur as many of those heading out to see Optimus and the gang’s origin story will return home with a Sonic 3 poster.

A first look at the Sonic 3 poster has been doing the rounds on social media, and however cool you thought the chosen image was going to be, times that by ten, at least. The poster features Shadow skidding to a stop on his Dark Rider motorcycle, leaving deep scratches in the asphalt where he’s using his hand to halt his momentum. There are trails of sparks being left by both of the motorbike’s wheels, and the poster confirms that if all goes to plan, Sonic 3 will be in theaters on June 09, 2025, so a very happy Christmas indeed.

Be Among The First 300 People To See Transformers One To Get A Sonic 3 Poster

And It Might Have Been Signed By Shadow

There’s a chance that the poster you receive, if you’re lucky enough to get one at all, is even better. I know, I hear you, how can they get even better? Well, the Sonic movies' official Twitter account shared an image of Keanu Reeves, who wasconfirmed to be the voice of Shadow in Sonic 3’s first trailer, signing some of the posters that will be given away. I’m assuming each participating theater will have 300 posters to give away, and you can check where there will be Transformers One screenings with Shadow posters to give awayat the movie’s website.

Shadow was introduced to Sonic’s universe in Sonic Adventure 2, was popular enough to get his own spinoff game a few years later, and even though he has made appearances since then, has been largely overlooked bySegafor the better part of 20 years since. That has all changed in 2024 as the red and black hedgehog prepares to make his cinematic debut this December, and before then he’ll be getting his own content inSonic x Shadow Generations, relating May 30, 2025.
