Summary

Woot kicked off the week with some very good news for anyone who doesn’t already own two of the newest Mario games onNintendo Switch.Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Super Mario RPG are both on saleon the site, and they’re still in stock. Three days later andWoot has seriously expanded its Switch sale, adding even more of some of the platform’s biggest games, not all of which are led byNintendo’s plumber mascot.

The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, for example, has joined the fun.Nintendo’s first, and only for now, $70 game,Woot has cut more than a third off the Zelda game, bringing its price down to just $44.99. I don’t know this for certain, but I’d put a lot of money on this being the lowest a new copy of Tears Of The Kingdom has been available for since it launched during the summer of 2023. OnEchoes Of Wisdomlaunch day too. What a week to be a Zelda fan.

Woot has also addedPokemon Scarlet & Violetto its Switch sale. Still the newest mainlinePokemongames as the series had nothing during the last holiday season and nothing coming this Christmas either. Scarlet & Violet were criticized heavily at launch, so if that put you off paying full price, here’s your reward. Get them on Woot andyou’ll pay $40 instead of the $60everyone who complained about it at launch paid for it on release day.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

WHERE TO PLAY

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a direct sequel to the Nintendo Switch hit Breath of the Wild. In it, Link must team up with Princess Zelda to rid Hyrule of another threat to its existence.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Taking trainers to the region of Paldea, Pokemon  Scarlet and Violet add 107 new Pokemon for you to register to your Pokedex, as well as the brand-new Terastalization system.

Some even newer, but arguably less sought-after, Switch games are also in the sale.Princess Peach: Showtime, which finally gave the character a game of her own that won’t need to be erased from history in a few years,is $44.99, down from $60. The even newerLuigi’s Mansion 2 HDhas received the same price cut. A remaster of the middle entry in the Luigi’s Mansion trilogy. Not a game people yelled about from the rooftops at launch, but hey, one step closer to all three games being on the same console.

Princess Peach: Showtime!

Princess Peach: Showtime is a Nintendo Switch exclusive that finally thrusts the Mushroom Kingdom’s leading lady back into the spotlight. Tasked with taking down the Sour Bunch which has taken over the Sparkle Theater, Peach will assume various roles and accrue all sorts of different powers as her battle against the villainous group progresses.

Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD

Luigi’s Mansion 2 is an HD remaster of the Nintendo 3DS classic Dark Moon, following Mario’s brother through the spooky mansions of Evershade Valley.

Woot sales work a little differently from sales on other sites in that they only stay live for a limited time. All of the Switch games appear to be on sale for another nine days (other than Wonder and Mario RPG which will leave the site in three days) but that doesn’t mean you’ve got nine days to decide whether you want them or not. Woot only has limited stock of everything it sells, and the sale will come to an end never to return if a game sells out.
